This place is a nightmare! You could probably get a better stay in a crack house! First off, the desk service and staff are disrespectful. I was asked to pay a $50 deposit, and that's a first for me. Lobby has a pungent smell. Floors are nasty and sticky. The smell of mildew, cigarettes, and marijuana in the hallways. The only working elevator is a death trap. The carpets are stained and fifty. All night drug activities in the building and in the parking lot. Unaccompanied children are running and playing in the hallway at all hours of the night. I was told that my room was a suite but turned out to be a regular room with a tiny fridge and a broken microwave. That so-called suite had bed bugs in it. I found hair in the bed along with a mixture of dirty sheets with multiple burn stains. Asked to be moved to another room, and it was worse. The second room had a dirty stained couch. In both rooms, the toilet wouldn't flush properly but would overflow as well as the sink. Both rooms had bed bugs. And were hot without properly working air conditioning units. All ice machines were broken. Complimentary breakfast was terrible. People who weren't tenants walking the hallways all night. They didn't want to refund my money for checking out days early. The pool looked so nasty as well as the jacuzzi. I went to the LA Quinta across the street and got treated great with a different experience.
Super unhappy with the way the room is. For starters, the sheets were so old they literally had spots that were transparent with age, they were also damp. The floor by the bed was damp. Every time the toilet flushed water would come out of the back end. Burn marks on the couch. The shower and toilet were very dirty. Cleaning rags were left in the bathroom. And even the sink in the bathroom leaks . I asked the front desk for new sheets, none provided.
One of the elevators broken, the other sounded like it was going to brake and fall while you’re in it. The vending machine broken and we were told to not use it after it ate our money. The floor of our room felt wet. Towels were dirty/stained. Breakfast subpar, we ended up going out for breakfast the second day.
If I could give this place minus stars I would the pictures are from check in this is what the room looked like. I booked for 3 nights but I had to cancel 2 because the drug activity plus the stink smell I was not comfortable at all. But let’s get to the refund they stole 70.00 out of my account when it was only suppose to be a 50.00 deposit. The deposit is not on the website they tell you when you get there. I asked to speak with a manager I’m talking to him and it’s a little short lady at the desk as well putting her 1 sense in as me and him talk. I have friends at the health department that I will be sending to this hotel. When I showed the pictures they explained that their washer was trash and housekeeping was too busy to clean everything in the room. RUN do not book here. Corporate Wyndham needs to take there name back this a more like a motel than a hotel. You’ve been warned!
Don’t stay here. Dirty, loud, and unsafe. Two people at the front desk were complaining of having all of their stuff stolen. The front desk clerk charged me a $50 deposit for the room despite the fact that I prepaid for the room. This fee was not mentioned on the website or in my confirmation email. The elevator vibrates and shook and felt like it was going to break down any second. The room had blood stains on the floor and box springs, wine stains on the bathroom door, an unclean bathroom, and dirty linens. The hallway reeked of cigarette smoke and weed.
My stay at Wingate by Wyndham Houston Willowbrook was far from what I expected. Traveling to Houston for the first time for a conference, I chose this hotel for its proximity, trusting the Wyndham name. The online booking seemed straightforward, with average prices and decent pictures. Upon arrival, the lack of speed bumps was a minor issue compared to the outdated and mismatched decor of the lobby. It felt more like a motel, but I was willing to overlook that until I saw the room. The rug was stained and lifting, and a moldy odor permeated the space. Patched walls, chewed picture frames, and a dirty futon instead of a proper bed were just the start. The office chair was grimy, and the bathroom had remnants of hair weaves and a stained granite sink. I was hesitant even to place my luggage on the floor. Despite being 'upgraded' to a premium suite, the improvements were superficial at best, with laminated floors in the entrance and a slightly better bathroom. However, the cleanliness issues persisted. For the price and under the Wyndham name, the conditions were simply unacceptable, more fitting for a motel than a hotel.

The representative at the desk totally ignored me when I attempted to check in. I had to walk to the back office to get help and the representative had the nerve to take phone calls when assisting me. Check in took 15 minutes and both representatives at the desk became rude and unprofessional. I asked for an additional blanket but was told I had a blanket on my bed. Needless to say, I did not stay and do not recommend this hotel.
THIS PLACE WAS BY FAR THE DIRTIEST,ROACH FILLED NASTY PLACE EVER WORSE THAN THE CHEAPEST HOTEL YOU CAN FIND! THE FRONT DESK ASAIN LADY AND MEN WHO RUN IT ARE VERY RUDE AND MEAN. THE SHOWER STARTED LEAKING AND THEY BARGED IN MY ROOM WHILE IN THE SHOWER AND BECAUSE I MADE A BIG DEAL THEY KICKED ME OUT WOTHOUT MY REFUND OR ANYTHING.
