Best WLM Reviews

Where do I start. Believe every other review. Any other hotel would be better. Homeless shelter across the street. Front desk rude. Very outdated. Clearly they do not care about their hotel. Breakfast was a joke. Was not clean and did not look like it was going to get clean after it was all put away. Elevator broken. Main light in our room was out. And to top it all off. I was charged for smoking weed in my room I don’t even smoke weed. I would gladly take a test. Plus I had an infant with me. Are we serious?!? I’m so pissed. I wasn’t even gonna leave a review because of how bad they are. Booking however does not show them being this bad. I am on the phone with them though. Best believe you are NOT charging me a fee for something I did not do!!
Great hotel, very family friendly and fun pool. Clean and quiet! Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and fresh but could use a little more variety in the muffin section. Laundry facilities were clean and easy to use. Very dog friendly but some people don't like service dogs anywhere but on the 1st floor.
This hotel is not like it looks in the pictures. The elevator is scary. It even has a sign that says you can see the elevator inspection at the GM office. The lady at the front desk wasn’t the nicest. I asked to use the bathroom and she replied with “well I wish I had one for you to use” later on we seen the bathroom in the hallway, not far from the front desk.
The stairway door (which she was nice enough to put us beside) creeks and slams all night, and because the elevator is scary no one wants to take it unless they have to. Heard the door all night long.
Conditioner was empty, room had dust all over the place.
Beds were really uncomfortable, the pool was so outdated and had a haze over it. We never bothered to use it.
The breakfast was good the lady that was doing the breakfast was super nice, friendly and was on everything when it ran out.
We probably wouldn’t stay here again.
We chose to stay here as Wyndham Rewards members on our way home from our road trip. The room rate was comparable to other hotels so why not try to earn some rewards! Our room and bathroom were clean and organized. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. We liked how they had more than one garbage bin in the room.
The breakfast was good. We liked how they had make your own breakfast wraps with tortillas, eggs, sausage, salsa, and sour cream in addition to the regular continental breakfast foods! We would stay here again!
Stayed here for 3 nights, and I won't be back! The hotel is very dated (which would have been fine if everything was at least clean) The pool area was slimy and the bleach smell was nauseating. They don't clean rooms during your stay, and if you want towels you ask for them (which is fine but I was told they had none clean and to come back in 2 hours once he had a load done-front desk staff does the laundry) Towels are old and worn out. Bed was comfortable, but you only get two sheets to cover with. Locks on the room door are inadequate and the frame was busted. Top sheet had blood stains on it. There were holes in the ceiling, and the bathroom floor was filthy. The room overall was dirty and could have used a deep clean. There was also a dog in the room next to us that howled the entire night. Air conditioning blew only warm air. This hotel has potential but needs at least minor upgrades to make it worth the price.
This is our second time staying at this wyndham in great falls. We are a small family on tighter budget that tries to travel as much as possible. Wyndham makes it a lot easier to do that with a brand we can trust. Both times we stayed Robert was working, he was extremely pleasant & seeing a familiar face each stay made it more comfortable. He is extremely professional and polite, very friendly & accommodating. In the morning Windy was working, and she was doing a great job managing the breakfast/front desk/helping everybody. Both were very great at multitasking. If I was the boss I would give them a big raise and more vacation time! The rooms were clean, pool was nice, location was good but the staff made the stay feel a lot better.
Was a nice hotel for a one night stay. Staff were super nice and helpful. Some things I’d personally like to see fixed. Our room had someone’s leftover pizza still in our fridge. The bathroom mirror needs a better light cause the LED behind it wasn’t bright. The bathroom had hair all over the bathtub. The cover of the dial for the shower was loose. The shower head was leaking at the seam and wasn’t very good. The paint was peeling off the ceiling. The shower curtain wasn’t long enough to stay in the bathtub. I think there was supposed to be a hanger on the bathroom door but all there was was some sort of metal clip. There were screws in the bathroom door for no reason. Pool was nice but the floor was peeling and getting into the pool.
On Aug. 8 I called to make a reservation to stay at the Great Falls Wingate by Wyndham on Aug. 9. The call went directly to a call center, so I did not speak to anyone at the actual hotel. When my husband and I showed up at the hotel shortly before midnight on August 9, after having been driving for nearly 17 hours, the desk clerk said there was no reservation in our name. I offered to show him the three confirmation emails I'd received and he said no, he didn't need to see them, there was no reservation for us. When I asked how that could be possible, he said the reservation had been canceled because my credit card had been declined. That made no sense either—did I not have a reservation to begin with (clearly I did) or had my card been declined (it had been working everywhere else, so why not here)? We asked if there were any rooms (we were exhausted and needed a place to sleep and now it was midnight). He said there were rooms, and quoted us a rate higher than what was in the original confirmation emails. I asked if he could honor the original price. Then he said he hadn't been working there long so he'd have to call his manager. The manager asked if we'd booked a deluxe or a regular room. I had no idea, so I told him what the confirmation email said and he said, "You had a regular room. I only have deluxes left. You'll have to pay XX amount" (I can't recall what), which was more than what the desk clerk had said. I protested again, and he asked to speak to the desk clerk. A minute later, the desk clerk said, "You can't stay here tonight." My husband and I were flabbergasted. And furious. Fortunately we found a room at a nearby Hampton Inn. Two days later, when I got home and checked my bank statement, I discovered a room charge for the Great Falls Wingate by Wyndham. I called the corporate customer service number, which is when I discovered that I'd missed the fine print in the three emails: I'd been booked to stay at the hotel on Aug. 8, not Aug. 9. The customer service rep sympathized with me and reached out to the hotel. A few days later, I received an email from Wingate by Wyndham saying that their computer showed that my husband and I had showed up at the Great Falls hotel at 7:44 pm (as per their "system") on Aug. 8 and as such, they would not refund me but would give me 2,000 Windham points. At 7:44 pm on August 8, I was at a restaurant in southern Colorado, where I'd spent the night, and I had the receipts to prove it. I called corporate headquarters again. The customer service rep said that the email had come from the hotel directly, not corporate headquarters. She reached out to the hotel for me, and within a week the money had been refunded. But the experience has soured me completely on this hotel chain and in particular the scam artists running the property in Great Falls. I've never had an experience like this, and while I realize I made a mistake by not reading the confirmation email more closely, that was no excuse for the Great Falls management to lie to my husband and me (repeatedly) and treat us so poorly.
