Best WLM Reviews

Stopped here on my way from San Diego to drop my daughter off at CSU. We arrived around 10 at night, and as others noted, checked in via a woman on a screen in the Phillipines (I'm guessing). The check in via a machine was actually pretty quick and easy, and not an issue with us. The clarity of the sound was definitely poor, so we had to ask the lady to repeat herself over and over. The room was a king bed room. It was clean enough, but my daughter did say she saw black mold in the bathroom area. We got up at 6 to eat our free breakfast and head out. The coffee was good, the rest was very underwhelming. It was good enough and we packed and left. So, our time at the hotel was very limited. It is freeway close and there are many restaurants and shops just across the freeway. For our purpose, it was fine, but in my opinion, very expensive for what it was. If staying for an extended time, I probably would choose a different hotel.
A adequate chain Motel. Room was clean, coffee maker didn't work in the room. I personally prefer Carpeting and they have hardwood floors everywhere all the hallways and all the rooms. I find that left me a little chilly and I found it a little impersonal. However I suppose from a maintenance point of view it does make sense not the most Pleasant for me. They had a breakfast but frankly it was rather minimal and came across as somewhat of a afterthought.
The room was really nice. Friendly staff. However the shower had a lot of mold. I opted not to take a shower. Now I have to spend the day with ugly hair until my next stop. Clean the showers better and it would be a nice place.
New paint on the outside… makes it look nice. First night was ok, next day breakfast was watery eggs & sausage under cooked???? second night after a long day of working, key card didn’t work. Also told the front desk about the black mold on the shower curtain, was told it would get taken care of…Third night again the key card didn’t work. Got in my room and notice the maid was there after turning down the service and still didn’t take down the moldy shower curtain!!! Gets worse… was going to get in the shower couldn’t find my under armor sweats… yep missing! I’m left having to sleep in my jeans as I share a room with my male boss. Went down and confronted the front desk about my sweats, he then contacted the maid… he came to the room… I showed him wear my sweats were and also the shower curtain he then took the curtain down. Not to mention the curtains in the room don’t close so you’ve got lights shining in the room all night! Hot tub was working. Like the other review felt creeped out about the camera looking down on me in the hot tub. Cameras everywhere!
Don’t come here for the love of everything holy. Made the mistake of coming here on a family vacation.
Check-in was a nightmare, as at only 9 PM, there’s no staff member available to assist you. Instead they have a Kiosk which uses outsourcing to connect you to an agent in the Philippines. We tried to get our room and the agent told us that we didn’t have two beds in our room, when we specifically booked a 2 queen room. We showed them our booking which stated what room type we had, and they still refused to give it to us without up-charging us. Attempting to resolve the issue, we called Trip Advisor and they double confirmed that they had requested a double room on our behalf. The agent then finally gave us our key to a double queen room. At the same time, another elderly couple was checking in and they told us they had been up-charged to a double room when they had requested a single room. I don’t even know what to say about that one.
The room at first looked clean, but we quickly found out otherwise. Behind a broken wall panel in the shower we found black mold! The beds were fine, and otherwise the night was uneventful.
What a mess. The prices were ridiculous for a stay like this. You might be better off trying your luck in the mountains.
Beyond terrible: wouldn't honor the rate quoted on the phone, both lamps stopped working in the first 10 minutes. Toilet never flushed once (had an odd leak in the flush valve). Room not clean. Keeping our luggage in the shower and hoping the bed bugs didn't bite! Worst hotel i've stayed at in a long time at any price and we paid $200.
The staff was fine. Very helpful. The building is so poorly built that every footstep in the hall or above the room booms like an elephant and the ac/heater resonates like a bell. Also the toilet didn't flush well. For the price, stay somewhere else.
We looked at 3 rooms before we found one that didn't smell bad. The bath towels were paper thin, and rough, and seeded damp. The tub didn't drain well I was in shin deep water showering, the entire shower water handle was loose, putting water into the walks and hard to turn on. The breakfast buffet was messy and poorly supplied
