WOW what great stay!
Our room 226 was super clean, and the housekeeping staff were so nice and helpful
Ice maker on the first floor and cold water at the breakfast bar.
The buffet breakfast was amazing, clean, well stocked! The hotel was busy but you never had to wait! From fresh waffles, danishes the BEST coffee plus so much more. The kitchen staff kept it so clean it was a pleasure to share a meal with our family.
Travel lids were available so you could make a takeout coffee or juice.
The front desk staff were lovely and very helpful.
The best part for us running back and forth to the airport to sort out car rental is the free shuttle. Check the times that it runs and book it! We had a late flight in and the shuttle wasn’t running and cost us $55USD for Uber so if you get the opportunity make sure you book.
Just remember that all hotels offer smoking rooms, and this smell can filter into the hall so request non smoking if you need.
There isn’t much in a safe walking distance so pack snacks

I stay here when I have doctor appointments at UT Southwestern. I've been at this hotel a lot within the last three years and was never disappointed with the service! The service here is excellent! People are friendly, the hotel is clean, safe, and guarded 24/7, and there is much more to say about this place. I have a negative opinion that breakfast is ALWAYS the same, and there are few options.
The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a good location near all of our activities. The staff was nice. Our only minor issue is food services could not deliver to our room which was a little inconvenient.
Stayed for 2 nights. The room was spacious and the showers were okay. I liked that parking was free. Didn’t use the included breakfast but it smelled really nice every morning. Staff were okay, a bit unmotivated, but still friendly. Overall I would say this is a good place to stay if you want to be a little outside of the city centre.
We stayed on two different nights a week apart.l (nonrefundable reservations). On both occasions our rooms smelled heavily of smoke and were not cleaned so we had to move rooms. The rooms still did not smell great but we had two small kids that needed to sleep so we stayed.
An "employee" entered our room and our family members room during our stay. They had a key and physically opened the door. Once they opened the door, they said, "wrong room" and left. This is extremely unsafe and unacceptable.
I also accidentally left a smart watch in the room and when I called them about it the next day, they said they would ask housekeeping and would call me back. I have never received a call and assume it to be taken.
The shuttle is a 5 passenger minivan.It did not have room to accommodate our party of six and so two of our party had to wait outside at the airport late at night until it returned to pick them up.
The property is in a fine location and the price makes it appealing. Overall, I would spend more to avoid the Wingate with the issues we experienced with cleanliness and safety.
Booked a king room w a bath tub, after driving 12 hrs. Arrived, checked in , got to room, no tub,went downstairs was told I didn't book w a tub,even though it clearly showed it on reservation. Aurging with me, had me call booking.com,to tell each other they were wrong, after abt 30mins ended up w 2 queens in order to get a tub.
Room looked nothing like how it did online . not very cleaned and it smelled very like humid inside the room. Price was decent but not worth it might as well pay a little more and go get a nicer hotel. Breakfast was ok very long line to get a single waffle . They should really add another waffle maker . Staines on the shades in the room looked like it was old blood . We stayed in room 1725 i think it was the first floor last digits of room number were 25
This was not a good Wyndham quality hotel. The staff is short so they rushed to clean rooms and don’t get them cleaned properly. The rooms stink like old locker rooms and there is hair everywhere. The fitness center and pool are not cleaned and the machines in the fitness center are all out of order. The pool had a film of dirt in the jacuzzi and the walls of the pool were dirty as well. There is mold and debris in the vents over the jacuzzi as well as on the bathroom doors.
