The hotel staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and nice especially for the price. The breakfast that comes with your stay was delicious and the eating area was clean and comfortable. The hotel is also conveniently located next to the interstate with many eateries within a short walking distance. I will definitely keep this gem on my return again list.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Their staff is also quite friendly and accommodating. I also enjoyed their complimentary hot and cold breakfast. Across the parking lot you’ll find a Cracker Barrel Restaurant which happens to be my wife’s favorite for a convenient dinner if one chooses.
Great location, decent breakfast, very clean rooms, comfortable beds, great TV, friendly staff. And most important, they take cats. Our two cats travel with us. The cats were quite happy with the room which meant it was clean and quiet. I loved that it is a one minute simple walk to Cracker Barrel for dinner.
The continental breakfast wasn’t great. The turkey sausage was rubbery. The water in didn’t taste good. The service was good from the front desk to the housekeepers. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Didn’t like that the room smelled like dogs. A lot of people had dogs at this hotel. I wish I knew that before booking. The hotel is animal friendly. The room felt moist, we had to turn the air up high to cover up the dog smell. The housekeeping had to vacuum the floor again. My bed sheets had stains on it. Bathroom floor was chipped. Would I stay there again no!
Really enjoyed my stay. The people were very nice. Breakfast was excellent. Only downside was one day someone hung up the do not disturb sign on my door, probably housekeeping.
Overall, a great experience.
The hotel needs some work. It is understandable with the humidity that there might be mold, however, more needs to be done to mitigate the mold. There are also some issues with bugs that need to be dealt with. The staff here is amazing. The front desk staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The housekeeping staff is efficient.
The front desk lady that checked us in was super friendly and personable and we enjoyed our interaction with her. The room was beautifully remodeled, clean and so comfortable. I have never slept in a hotel bed that was as comfortable as this hotel's. We will definitely be staying here again whether it's for another hurricane or to have a leisure getaway from boat life.
Miss Pam is a treasure! I feel so blessed to have called from the interstate to ask the fee for pets and she was so kind and caring and made me feel so special after an exhausting ride all day. We don’t see enough kindness, but I did right here! Thank you again and again. Room was clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast area was clean and the food was great too. All in all, jazzed!
