Best WLM Reviews

The location for us was very ideal on our visit. Close to restaurants and several attractions that we were planning to do. The breakfast both days was simple, eggs, sausage, and make your own waffle bar. One morning, there were biscuits and gravy, pretty good. The rooms were clean. We had a two bedroom suite and the only complaint we really had was the living room did not have a TV, just the bedrooms. There was a mini fridge and a microwave. The water pressure was decent, and the room was just a little humid. There was only one working elevator, so we found ourselves taking the stairs to the third floor often as it was a pretty busy weekend and the hotel was full. Overall, not bad. I would consider it again if we ever returned to the area.
We stayed at this location to attend the Tuesday evening. We walked in the lobby, and it was spotless. It was so spotless that you could eat off the floor. The check-in process was seamless. The room was as clean as a whistle. The bathroom amenities were great. The bed was clean and comfortable. No loud noises from people walking in the hallway. The complementary breakfast was delicious and satisfying. On Tuesday, we started to walk to the stadium, but the hotel offered a shuttle to and from the game. The check-out process was seamless. I will stay here every time I come to town. Best experience ever.
Very standard hotel room. I only stayed one night. Ice machine on the 3rd floor was out of order. Elevator was having a couple issues as well. Highway noise was also very loud. Overall a very solid 3 of 5.
I wish I could give ZERO stars for rooms, food and service but they don’t allow. Truly the only thing nice about this place is its location to the park!
First thing when we walked in was the smell, musty old almost a urine smell. But all rooms smelled the same( we were in a group with 4rooms) Everything is old, paint in bathroom chipped, grout in bathroom black with dirt, carpet and furniture stained. The bathroom faucet was falling off and you had to hold it. The drain in the shower was missing but you would want to bathe anyway due to the ring around the room. TV didn’t work! We went to use the gym, no magnet to use the treadmill and no remote for the TV. It got to be a joke in our group about everything not working. What broke today was the question of the morning.
Every morning they ran out of food.
Literally it was our worse hotel experience ever, first and last time staying at a Wyndham!
One thing I will say and all of us were in agreement…. The beds were great! Just don’t walk on the carpet!!!
I wish I had taken photos to validate but I didn’t think of that!
Very nice hotel. Reasonably priced. We stayed 15th-19th. Right next door to Waffle House. They were super friendly and inviting there. My only suggestion is for there to be a television added to the common area of the 2 bedroom suites so that we could watch as a family instead of retreating into our individual bedrooms. Don't like the every other day room cleaning. They will exchange towels though but I'm on vacation and don't want to make up my bed every day if I'm staying in a hotel!
The lobby was a very welcoming surprise as the outside does not give you any indication of how nice the inside looks. Fresh drinking water sitting in the lobby; one with citrus and one without. The front desk staff were all super friendly and accomodating.
We didn't use the pool but it looked super clean. Someone was having a party in one of the meeting rooms; you could hear the music while in the lobby but that noise didn't travel upstairs so no complaints there.
I could clearly hear outside noise (those it may have been somewhat stifled) so I would suggest whatever windows they use for hotels at airports to cut down on that. I didn't particularly love the soft, short pillows on the bed. There was a single long and 3 short. Those shorts were flimsy.
When I got the room, the bathroom light didn’t switch on since it was the mirror that had the light; however, the bathroom mirror was on the sofa. The safe also didn’t work. The receptionist was a bit awkward and wasn’t too friendly. Personally, the rate was the rate was too expensive for what my stay was.
I’ve stayed here many times. I’ve had good experiences and I’ve had bad ones. I’ve been in my room taking a work zoom call and the chair literally breaks and I fall out my chair. When I called the front desk to let them know they did not sound surprised. I’ve had times where shower pressure is dripping instead of a normal shower. I’ve also had times where I have had a massive room and everything is great. The price and location are what’s great. Walkable to the battery and Braves stadium also my work. So you pay for what you get.
Ice machine were out on all floors but one. The gym equipment was not operating. The lights switch in our room the first night did not work. Rooms could use better lighting. However the customer service there was great. We were accommodated to checking in a day earlier than planned and the conference room turned out great for our reunion. Nancy even allowed us to use a section of the lobby to greet everyone. The hotel location was perfectly centered around our reunion activities and we enjoyed ourselves.
