Centrally located with pleasant service. The rooms, however, need some updating. The walls were very dark, floors were a bit sticky, I didn't have matching pillows, and the shower head well, I can't say I've seen anything like it and the sound that emitted was ear piercing. Overall, for the price and reason for being there, it worked. Staff was extremely courteous, and the property was maintained nicely. I felt safe, which was important, they need to make a few minor interior improvements. Plus was they had a microwave and refrigerator.
We booked last minute at a reasonable price, and the staff was very helpful over the phone. We were coming in later (almost midnight), and were greeted by a very nice lady at the desk. The breakfast was very good, one of the best we’ve had at a hotel buffet. Nice fresh fruit, and the grits were very good. Overall our stay was a very good experience.
The breakfast is amazing, hot and fresh! Super clean, and I loved the modern look of the lobby and all the signage! The front desk guy, Kishan, was super helpful and nice!
Here on business and I the hotel is pleasant. Housekeeper (Diana) EXCELLENT, goes above and beyond. I’m extremely clean and keep everything tidy. Although, she still attends to my room daily and freshens up the whole room.
I am very, very satisfied with my stay. The room very spacious and very very clean, DOES NOT SMELL LIKE CIGARETTES, THAT IS A+! Very quiet, and peaceful. The breakfast is GREAT, hot and clean, they constantly checking and bring more food, waffle makers both work, condiments are full, juice machine full, all utensils stocked, u do not have to tell them anything, just fix ur food sit down in clean, quiet, BEAUTIFUL seating dining room and eat. A very comfortable, safe area, all food restaurants and fuel. The staff here is so polite and shows great hospitality, welcoming you, smiling. The house keeping is Wonderful, ask and they take care of it, I will recommend this hotel to anyone wanting cleanness and quiet come here. All the staff here is soo polite and welcoming, they speak, ask if u need anything. This is the cleanest hotel from front door, floors clean, walls clean, staff clean, and pleasant. I WILL BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL AGAIN AND RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.
My name is Cheryl Williams and I stayed at this hotel 9/20/24-9/22/24. We were there to attend a funeral for the loss of our beloved cousin. Thank God it was a short stay! I was told that there will be a note on my reservation that the payment will be split between two credit cards. When we arrived they told us that they could not split the payment. There was no flexibility and the hotel manager didn’t seem to care that we were told something very different so things started off bad. The complimentary breakfast was disgusting and to make matters worse when it was time for us to leave, the bathroom light was out. We had an early morning flight and had to leave the hotel at 6am and had to get ready in the dark. Unacceptable. I urge anyone considering thus hotel to look elsewhere.
The check-in process was very easy. The desk clerk explained where everything was at. The room was very comfy and it was also very clean and so was the bathroom. It was a great experience. The cost was very reasonable, which a lot of this surrounding hotels were not. It was a relief to find something I could afford. Thank you Wingate so very much!
I should have went with my fist mind and booked at the Hampton Inn after reading the reviews, but I didn't. I booked through Booking. Com. I checked in around 6pm, left then returned around 9:30pm. While checking in, I noticed the cracked tiles in middle of the floor in the lobby. After entering my room, I Walked into the bathroom, turned in the light and a spark came from the bathroom outlet and the bathroom light went out. Turned the switch off then back on again and the bathroom outlet start again and the bathroom light went out again. The outlet the microwave was plugged into made a sparking noise also. I contacted the front desk and the worker came up to our room to see what was going on. After inspecting the issue, he told me I have to flip the bathroom switch on and off hard on order for the spark to go away. I was afraid to turn the light off, so we slept with the light on. The housekeeper that cleaned the room didn't replace the soap, shampoo and conditioner. The box of soda had been opened , the flaps were pushed inside of the box and laid down as though the soap was new. The conditioner bottle flap was left open. I Woke up the next morning and the ceiling was leaking onto the chair that was sitting in the corner. This was my 1st and last time booking at this place. My hotel room was very unsafe and I paid $130 for one night. Not once did the front desk offer to move me to a new room.
