Everything was pretty good for the most part. There was only 1 issue I guess you can say and that was the shower or the bathroom as a whole. It has a leak that you can deal has yet to be dealt with, and as such has left water damage. The light switch and sconce in the bathroom were also dirty. Otherwise no issues that would keep me from booking in the future, but these should still be addressed.
We checked in after midnight and felt very safe as doors were locked to outsiders. The front desk employee was very nice. Room was clean. Bed was super comfy, all the amenities. Only negative was low water pressure for 2 girls with lots of hair!
Came with my family for a University of Georgia visit was an older hotel; however, the staff was nice and the amenities were kept up. Stayed a few nights without loud. Very close to the university. Drive was maybe 5 minutes to downtown Athens.
You will surprised and happy at this discount hotel. The rooms are updated, well appointed with every basic thing you need. Carpet is clean, bed is comfortable, sofa is ok. The hotel is quiet, staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is decent and location is awesome. The only complaint I have is that the toilet was slightly wobbly and the seat was loose and the tub faucet leaked if not turned off exactly precisely. All concerns were reported to the front desk when I checked out. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and stay here again. The hotel is about a mile from downtown but I wouldn’t recommend walking to town as you have to pass by a small homeless encampment hangout that doesn’t look too safe.
Everything was very good, very clean, the location, the room for couples was very spacious, except that I forgot my chain and I called to let them know and it was my mistake, they didn't want to give it back to me. When I returned to the hotel, the cleaning person let me into the room, which she said she hadn't seen. I made the report to the police. Now I just have to wait to see what happens. They promised to call me, but now I know they won't give it back. It's not the value, it's the percentage. My daughter had given it to me.
Needed an a room at last minute later in the evening. Ms.Elisha greeted us with a smile and great service. Helped us with anything we needed help with. Really appreciated the kindness after a rough day. Room was fine and clean, quiet location and met the needs for last minute. Thank you Ms. Elisha.
Room was comfortable and clean. Front desk was present at all times and very friendly. Breakfast was replenished before anything ran completely out.
PROS: Honest staff. We forgot our iPad, and they found it for us and held it until we could backtrack to get it. So appreciate their integrity. Also, they made our beds and changed our towels, which we weren’t expecting during our 2 night stay.
CONS: Dingy, musty, very humid in the rooms, low lighting. All I had for breakfast was an orange. My daughter’s biscuit was rock hard. The eggs didn’t look real (and the ingredient list for them surprised me!).
