When we first arrived and were finally able to check in, the toilet in the room was steady running soon as we got in there. Went to front desk to ask about having it looked at, no one came. Went back to the front desk again still no help. Finally after a hour of waiting we finally were put into another room. My wife and I were tired and ready to relax but couldn’t because of this issue. They were still cleaning rooms at 4pm when people were supposed to be checking in at 3pm. I am really disappointed at the service we received after immediately being charged $158.06 at check in. We should have gotten a refund and room.
Wyndham Hotels are like a shell game. I booked a reservation, it was confirmed, I drove to my destination and at check-in they told me, "sorry we have no rooms we are overbooked." They could not find me a room anywhere else. I found a room 45 minutes away. I told them I was going to sleep in the lobby. 3 hours later the found an out of service room just to give me a room. Their customer service line told me there was nothing they could do and that if I wanted a service ticket, someone would get back to me in a week or so. Would not recommend the hotel, or the chain to anyone.
When I arrived I received exceptional customer service by the older gentleman who works in the evenings. Check in was smooth and I was given a room on the third floor. The bathroom was clean as well as the rest of the room. Breakfast is good with hot and cold options. Bacon, eggs, chicken patty, hashbrowns, self serve waffle maker, yogurt, juice, etc. Housekeepers and nice and polite. So many food and shopping options in the area that are walking distance. I would stay again.
The gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating because I initially booked the wrong location , but decided to stay anyways. The parking for my truck was sufficient and close to my room. The room was quiet and clean. The interior and exterior of the building could use a thorough cleaning( light remodeling maybe), but other than that I enjoyed my stay. Will stay again.
We chose this hotel because we were going on a VA retreat in Mt. Pleasant, SC. We were coming in from a nine-hour drive. We walked over to Texas Roadhouse for dinner which was convenient. When we returned to the room we were going to watch some TV but the TV didn't work. I went downstairs to the desk and told them, I was told that someone would be up to check on it. By 11:00 p.m. no one had come to check on it so we turned in for the night. We were very disappointed.
This was our second time staying here but we will not be staying here again. Our experience the first time was great . The older man was working the front desk and he provided great service. The second time we came we had the middle aged Indian guy working the front desk and he was very creepy and not that friendly. I got weird vibes from the start. Anyways, we got room 206, when we went to enter the room we had to pry the door open because it was stuck. As we walked in the room it smelt terrible… like musky.. it was awful. Then while we are getting ready for the night the Indian guy from the front desk try’s to enter our room without knocking or anything. Thankfully we had the latch closed or he would have fully come in. We open the door and he barges in the room looking for something from a previous guest. Does not ask to come in or anything. Just barges in the room. Me and my husband were shook because we both already got weird vibes from him…. We made sure not to leave any valuables in the room when we left after this. Skip to when we came back from going out that night. He was laying on the couch in the lobby watching his phone and stared us down until we got to the hall with the elevators. Skip again to 5:30 am that next morning. There was a knock on our door. My husband got up and ran to the door but waited a few to look out the peep hole, after a couple of minutes, someone knocks again and my husband looks out the peep hole and it was the Indian guy. We chose not to answer because what does he need at 5:30 in the morning ? Anyways, we waited about ten minutes and called down to the lobby to see what they needed and the Indian guy said that wasn’t him but we saw him through the peep hole. He was super creepy. It seemed like he was the only working because he cooked the breakfast which was absolutely terrible. Overcooked and hard as a brick. Not sure if this guy had some kind of obsession with us or if he was like that with everybody but we will not be chancing it again. We will no longer be staying at this location.our soap and shampoo also had not been swapped. It was used and almost empty. The floor under the a/c was soaked and basically a sinkhole .
If you bring an animal, BRING THEIR SERVICE PAPERWORK!! I don’t typically get asked for paperwork at Wyndham hotels, they ask at this location.
I checked in with I believe the night auditor, and the manager. Both were very friendly and HELPFUL!!!! HUGE emphasis on being helpful.
Room and common areas were very clean. The BEDS are the COMFIEST ever, I literally slept through my alarm until the time of check out.
Location is great as in very close to grocery and convenience stores, as well as typical shopping plazas.
This hotel is a great example of why I am a Wyndhams rewards member.
I came to visit my husband who is working on clearing trees on the roads and houses and I came here to stay and I am very grateful for the treatment that my husband and I received. Thanks to the reception staff, the guys were very kind, the room was very nice and clean. Will stay again
