Haters & Other Wing Places Step Aside…
This is what a wing place should be! No frills, no wasting your time, & great prices. These folks do the most they can with each ingredient and it shows; it seemed like they were having a great time behind the counter too. Both men who helped me were very friendly. Not even gonna complain about the bathroom, if you can’t handle a dive you can take your sensitive rear out to Cherry Creek for another faux-Italian slop fest.
For $11.99 plus a little bit for the tax and a tip I felt like I got a lot of value. 9 wings, some fries, a drink, & the leisure of not having to cook. Food itself was good too I don’t know what these other reviewers are on about.
Pretty on par with most pubs yet nearly half the price considering what you get. I will be coming here more! I got the Cajun style dry rub which I definitely recommend. The wings may be small but they are packed with meat to a much greater ratio than most other places I’ve tried. Fries were basic but who doesn’t love some seasoned salt.
As stated earlier this will not be my last time visiting a Wing Slingers!
Wow… I don’t even know where to begin…
We have been coming here for our wings for over 15 years now and today will be our last visit. The wings are small as hell and overcooked… just trash. They tasted like dirty dish water… how do you screw up hot wings?? And STILL a dollar a wing. Don’t waste your money, you’ll be sorry. Slingers used to have big wings, tasty food and excellent pricing. This is no longer the case at all. as you can see from my photo, My lighter is larger than the wings. So disappointing. I will say, we haven’t been for about a year but I don’t know what happened in the last year or how they are still in business? I will definitely be spreading the word to all of our friends and family… I guess we will become regulars at Buffalo Wind Wings instead!
Wings are so small over cooked. Ordered 40 wings price seemed good but the quality was not. They didn’t label the wings don’t know what’s what! My family was so disappointed and i feel bad because I chose this place. Mozzarella sticks $7 no marinara the large fries also $7 could’ve went to mcdonald’s and got a large fries for the same amount for half the price. That my hand holding 3 wings ????
I miss going to eateries that focus on the food and not the ambiance. Not to say there is anything wrong with their environment- they played our favorite music. It just isn't super trendy with 25$ appetizers! Their wings are fantastic! The staff was as nice as they could be. Jesse and Jeremy made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in. Ditch old Town.... try going off the beaten path. You'll be happy you did!!
Excellent food. I ordered 12 wings in their Angry Pooh Bear sauce. It...was...DELICIOUS!!! As was the Slingers Mac (Mac and cheese wedges), and the Rocky Mountain Oysters. Yes, Rocky Mountain Oysters. They serve them, they serve them well, and they are tasty.
Oh and did I mention that every order is made to order? You won't find any heat lamps in this place. They have an open kitchen and you can see everything.

We have gone here for a long time. The food has started to go down hill. The wings were overcooked this most recent time. After they ensure you all your food is there when you pick up, they tie the bags shut. When you get home they consistently forget to give you everything you order. They forgot our fries the last 2 times we went and offer little resolution. We will be searching for a better wing spot.
My first and LAST visit. What I ordered; Chicken strip meal with fries (girl who took my order said fries were included) 9.99 + 3.00 (extra chicken strip), side salad 2.49, Fancy bottle (12 oz) of ranch 4.99, 2 sides of medium sauce .50 each. What I got; (pictured) lettuce core, no fries, 3 sides of sauce, no 12oz fancy bottle of ranch!! My order total was $25.29, the math ain't mathin'. Called to let them know about my messed up order and the lady said she could give me an extra order of fries when I came back in. SERIOUSLY!?? That's it, are you kidding me, no apology or offer of other accommodations. Nah....I won't be back, thanks!!!!! 4 chicken strips that aren't worth $13.00 and the core of lettuce for $2.49......NEVER!@%$
