Best WLM Reviews
The premier place to eat in York South Carolina. The quesadillas were awesome and the wraps were perfect. Chastity our server was pleasant and very quick. The atmosphere has the at home feel that makes you comfortable while enjoying your food.
Our server was very nice and we understand she was learning, but the other waitress who helped her bring us our food brought one of the Stromboli's on a disc of cardboard. Personally, when you go out to eat, it is expect to be served on plates. Not cardboard. She seemed skilled enough to know that serving food on cardboard is not right when you pay for a service. No manager or kitchen staff came to apologize for this error. We miss when wing king was actually good. What happened?
Great tasting food and good service. If you enter the restaurant through he back parking lot it may help you lose your appetite. As there is a dog kennel and a huge bucket of cigarette butts right at the back door. Nothing like smelling dog feces and cigarettes right before you eat!
The only thing good I can say was that I left.
Wings (both bone in, and fingers) we so overcooked they were dry and extremely crunchy. To hide how over done the chicken was they literally drown them in their nasty hot bbq sauce.
My wife had a cheese steak wrap which was very bland, and mysteriously had something very crunchy in it.
In my opinion avoid the jalapeno cheese fries as it was fries with some cheap shredded cheese and some jalapeno slices (didn't taste fresh).
Sooo, this place is going down hill, and fast. We really enjoyed this place...but after a few blunders, no mas. The last straw are the pictures shown. This is a 4 piece tender with fries.....just sad. So tiny. My daughter's tender looked like a large shrimp. We were told they cut a breast up into 4 pieces and fry them. Maybe they should think about just ordering chicken tenderloins and not passing this as a meal for a hungry individual. Do not come spend your hard earned money at this place.
This is one of the most racist place to eat. My son and I went into to have an amazing dinner . No one greeted us!! No one told us to have a seat. After 3 minutes my son said ma come on and let's go. There was a last cleaning a table and a guy walked to to take a to go order. There was also 2 other tables with white folks eating. Poor atmosphere awful professional
Our server was Kayla D and she did a great job. Unfortunately the overall experience goes downhill. Our food took FOREVER to come out. We came in before 5p so well before a dinner rush. The dining room was not busy and still the food took quite a while. The fries were not hot. Fries should be served HOT. The wings are okay but nothing special. I do appreciate the wings are not breaded, thank you. My second negative was the bathroom (women's) was pretty rough. There is no mirror. Both bathroom doors need a good scrubbing. Clean bathrooms matter. The front of the house servers were quite attentive. Several others besides Kayla checked to make sure we had what we needed which was appreciated. I just reviewed my receipt and was charged for WATER & ICE. Not bottled water. It is 90+ degrees outside today. Try again. This was our first and likely our only visit.
These wings are the best around! Probably the best in the county.
