I've been going here off and on, probably 5 or 6 years when I first started coming to Wing Joint, the chicken wings were good, but they were a little bit on the salty side. So the last few times I have gone, the chicken has not tasted overly salty and it tastes actually really good. My experience with customer service has always been good. Maybe it's particular people that work there that make it a bad experience from other reviews that I've read. And they might need to be looked at, but I've never ran into an issue. I used to go to Hickory Hut over in St. Paul. I like this place better. Due to the fact that wings are not giant, they're a good size, but they're not huge and they taste very similar to Hickory Huts. The chicken seems to be better quality. I can warm them up the next day and I always suggest to everybody use an air fryer, they will snap back and be crispy and not dry. All it takes is three minutes in the air fryer. No reason to be going all the way to St. Paul. I live in Brooklyn Park, and Blaine is much closer.
I'm allergic to something in the dry rub. You'd think I'd stop eating here. WRONG. I had my first wing 22 years ago, despite my parents' best efforts to get me to stop eating something that could potentially harm me I didn't stop and will continue to eat them. I have not died yet, mild discomfort is worth it.
The ribs are pretty good too.
This place here i found by accident! I'm a true southern girl, and I had the meanest hankering for some chicken wings! I got the 6 wings fried crispy with the spicy bbq sauce. Let me tell you the chicken by it's self no sauce..... Whew baby it was very very flavorful! Then the sauce enhances what's already there. I would definitely come back in see y'all again! My goodness gone head and contribute to the bigging of my back! I can definitely afford the calories
Wanted to try a new local wing place and it was absolutely terrible. The wings were SOAKED in sauce and hardly any meat at all. If I were you I would skip this place for sure. Save yourself some money. You'd think having the word "wing" in their store name that they could at least know how to do it right. zero stars
Amazing wings as always. Ribs were also delicious . Hojo potatoes were yummy
Would not order the coleslaw or baked beans again however- good but more like out of the can beans and purchased from a store coleslaw.
Best wings I’ve ever had, no sauce just seasoned they’re dope. Whatever the seasoning is, it’s the best.
Idk what people be seeing in this place. My first time here and everything is so plain. I order a family pack; season wings, half rack, baked beans, hojo fries and French fries. The wings looks brunt like the oil haven't changed in months/ years. Doesn't taste burn but fried to almost dried out. Baked beans was such a disappointment because it tasted plain. No flavor or whatsoever. Both fries was soft. Ribs is just ok. I should have stay home and cook it myself.
So we walking up and see a sign on door that says there is no sitting in dining area due to heat we walk in and it’s not hot so I tried talking to the guy and he said rudely NO so as I was telling him what I wanted to order I said chicken he stated I figured that.. how rude and disrespectful I thought because we are people of color made us feel some kind of way. Any ways he was rushing us and we placed the order and he said y’all can wait in the car an I will wave and we can get food from the door . The funny part is if nobody is allowed to sit in there why come the female staff was sweeping the dining room area. The staff Cody really did bring out the food to car.. horrible customer service. Chicken good but the customer service can be better and to think I’m bragging to people about them we drove all the way from cities
