Best WLM Reviews
Nice spot with big portions. Enjoyed our waitress, she was very accommodating. The flounder on the seafood platter was killer, would definitely get that again!
Sports bar atmosphere, good waitress, fair prices. Buffalo oysters were awesome. Nautical nachos ok. Pretty standard bar type food.
I recently moved to shallotte and this is my Friday spot all the time. In some occasions I swing by on Thursday. Love this place, tried different plates and never disappointed. Flavor, taste and freshness all the time. High five to the chefs. I do want to mention kudos for 2 amazing gentlemen. Justin T has been our waiter a couple of times and he’s on it to assure you are good since the moment you are seated. The second is manager Cam, I hope I am spelling the name correctly. This manager is always going over and beyond. He helps he’s team specially on busy times. They are all very attentive and assuring your experience is at ????. My favorite dish Asian garlic wings and my husband’s the lobster Mac and cheese. You have to try this place you will not be disappointed at all.
I visited Wings & Fish Co. on July 4, 2024 at 1 PM. I was with a party of 10. My wife and I placed our order 2nd and 3rd with the waitress along with everyone else. The appetizers that were ordered came out in less than 10 minutes. The food orders came out in another 10- 15 minutes. After all the plates were delivered the table, everyone had their orders except for my wife and I. Our orders had not been prepared by the kitchen. It was another 15 minutes or more before our food arrived. Some in our group had already finished when our food arrived. I figured that someone may stop by the table and apologize for the mix up or reduce the bill before it was given to me. Neither occurred. The bill was full price and an 18% tip was added because we had a group of 8 or more. $42 for 6 wings, 1 shrimp poor boy, 2 soft drinks plus an 18% tip.
I had ordered the wings (bone-in) from their menu because they brag in BOLD letters on their menu that they serve JUMBO wings not average wings. The 4 flappers and 2 drumettes they served me were small to average by anyone's standards. They were cooked perfectly and seasoned as I had ordered but they didn't live up to the description on the menu. Another person in our party was also disappointed in the size of the wings they ordered after reading their description in the menu.
Note: they will ask if you are ordering bone-in or boneless wings and I know nothing about what a "boneless" wing would look like at Wing & Fish Co.
The food here is like thier other restaurants, fantastic. I was surprised how great the wings were. Sauce was on point (Cowboy) and wings are pretty big. Awesome service, good games on TV u can see from tables and a nice bar crowd. Our server Marcy was totally top notch making an overall fantastic dinner! Will 100% be back soon.
Seriously delicious food. Amazing and attentive service. I’m already dreaming about this food, and I just left.
If you want hot wings don’t go here. Our waitress was absolutely amazing, one of the best ever! But the Rick flair XXX wings, the “hottest” on the menu is less spicy than buffalo sauce from McDonald’s. Whoever is in charge of the wing sauces must think red chili flakes are the spiciest thing ever because the Rick flair XXX wings is literally mild buffalo sauce with a dash of chili flakes. The way the menu describes that wing flavor, I feel lied to. I was expecting hot and I didn’t even get a hint of a burn. You’d think with 5 levels of spice and so many flavors the hottest sauce would have at least some type of kick to it.
Shrimp and grits were delicious and so was the beer selection. Would be a great place to watch a game and get some food!
