Best WLM Reviews
First time trying Wing Daddy's Sauce House, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the fried pickles, Wing Daddy's club sandwich, ribeye steak sandwich, and lemon pepper wings. Everything was delicious! Definitely will be back to try other dishes. Our server, Amanda, was awesome!
Came here after going to physical therapy next door, thinking it was on place to get lunch with the family. Never been here before, I assumed it was something like Buffalo Wild Wings. As far as food I wasn’t exactly wrong. The service wasn’t amazing but it wasn’t bad, we did have to wait a bit to get drink refills, even though there was nobody else in the restaurant part - maybe 2 people at the bar. I assumed it’s empty just because it’s 3pm when I came in, on a Monday. I don’t fault them for that.
When I went to the bathroom however it looks like a tornado went through and they just left it. Hand paper dispenser is crooked on the wall and doesn’t work, toilet paper holder in the stalls are broken, stall door lock and coat hook are broken. Not sure how it is in the women’s room as I didn’t go in, by my wife said her paper towel dispenser was also crooked and not working.
Wall decorations in the restaurant are all crooked too, so maybe it’s a design aesthetic?(I don’t think so…the majority of them just look faded from being there for years, so being crooked is probably a product of age as well)
Food wasn’t bad, tho. I got mushroom Swiss burger, my wife got Mac and cheese smash burger and son got chicken bites and fries.
I’d suggest just find another place to eat if you’re hungry, there’s about 7 just across the freeway and down the road there’s even more, go there instead. This is probably more of a have a “beer w the guys(or gals or whatever) after work and watch the game” place.
Terrible service
I counted 4 waitresses and about 8 tables had people
It took 20 minutes to finally come and serve us. Usually most wing daddy’s are decent, but this one was terrible.
We ordered drinks an appetizer and wings and fries and the food came before the appetizer.
The wings bites were just unbelievably small.
It was a disappointment
It used to be amazing at first. We moved here from out of state 3 yrs ago and would drive 1 1/2 hrs to just come here. But every time we go, the wings are smaller and smaller. Nothing like before… The cauliflower bites are also a smaller portion than before for the same $14+ dollars. 90% of the time they are under staffed.. Our son always asks for the grilled cheese and the bread is always black and gets sent back 2-3 times. We loved this place so much! Excellent Margaritas!!! When family comes to Texas, we usually take everyone there. But last few times…. The 1 1/2 hr trip has not been so great. Great great flavors but portions get smaller each time… Trash in bathrooms are always full as well and a little messy. Wish it would turn around a bit and be like before….
This is my new favorite wing spot!! I love the fried Buffalo shrimp. Everything we have tried has been great! I try to get something differnevery time.
Take your money elsewhere. The drive 5 minutes north to BWW or even 15 to Pluckers is worth it. I ordered online last night at 7:02 and didn’t get my food until like 8:20. I arrived at the store around 7:25 since the website said my order should be ready by 7:17 and I wanted to give them a little extra time to prepare my order in case they were busy. I got to the restaurant and there were a total of about 30 people dining in, most with their food already. I asked the bartender for my order and all she gave me was “Ain’t ready yet. Go wait over there.” She pointed me to the corner of the restaurant where they hand off carry out orders and I waited there for about 15 minutes with no update as to how much longer it would take. Finally I got up to ask a server to check in with the kitchen because it had already been about 45 minutes since I ordered and she rolled her eyes and said she would check (nobody was wearing name tags so I don’t know the name.) She went and asked at the kitchen window, but wouldn’t look back at me to let me know what was going on. It looked as if they hadn’t even started on my order because they kept shuffling through tickets. I have a feeling they pushed me to the front of the line and neglected other customers who had also been waiting for about as long as I had at the pickup station. When I asked her again for an update all I got was “they’re working on them now.” She told me this maybe 4 times while I waited right in front of them but could not give me a time or a reason. I finally got my food and figured if it took this long the food should at least be fresh. The wings were cold and I was missing a ranch dressing. When I tried telling this to the server she said everything was in the bag without letting me explain so I had to basically push the receipt onto her so she could see what I was missing. I asked to speak to the manager or whoever was in charge but John or Josh or whatever name they gave me was supposedly working in the kitchen and training new people. I waited for him for about 15 minutes because I wanted a refund but he never showed his face so I decided to leave. This is the worst experience I have had at this location or at any wing place in Austin and I’m not one to leave reviews or bash a place, but I had paid over $20 and waited over an hour for 10 wings without so much as an apology.
Great place to get fast and friendly food. Beer was cold and food was excellent!! Also enjoyed the #WNBA!!
I didn't eat in. My order was for pick up.
Must say, I was disappointed with the food.
I ordered a 10 piece hot buffalo, well done & wet.
The flavor was barely there. Tasted like a light buffalo hot. The wings were definitely not well done and barely wet.
The ranch was watered down. The fries were ok.
I found the atmosphere & the service to be ok, but like I said, I ordered my food to go.
I wouldn't care to eat from here again.
