Can’t beat going to Wingdaddys on Tuesday for their tacos & bone in wing special. Which I decided to order both. Food was hot, service was good , and restaurant was pretty clean. Only reason for 4 stars was because Tacos usually come with a flour tortilla and we received a corn tortilla. When I asked the waitress why, she said “Because the truck didn’t arrive soon enough.” I felt like she could’ve gave me a heads up before ordering my tacos. Because they taste much better with a flour tortilla. But I will returning that’s for sure.
Tonight me and my girl decided to go eat some wings. With many options in the area we decided to go eat at this place. We went into the restaurant and we were told seat anywhere you would like and we did. Once sorted we waited to get services and 5 minutes passed and nothing. We started to look or a waitress or waiter and nothing. What I saw was this, lack of attention to the customers, then the waitresses all bunched up by the food pick up area and stayed there. One started to eat while others just stayed there doing nothing. One went to grab a drink from her cup and while looking at our table nothing followed. Needless to say it’s a crazy system that you as a restaurant owner or company have such lack of service demanded from your employees and the manager like nothing either. But hey I guess that you have to be a person that like to drink and seat at the bar to get services. But honestly the service here is beyond reproach and the manager should be retrained in how to properly manage and attend to customers. But it’s easy to say all this when I don’t own the business but as a paying customer at the minimum I would have expected a clean table and to at least have my drink for me and my women to start the service but nothing. Well I can go on and on about service but this is enough. But I’ll be taking my business elsewhere where and won’t be eating at this or any of the other wing daddy’s since service is lacking and training is not even done. We left right away and came to get tacos next door at Tacos el Chinampa where we were greeted and with in seconds had drinks and chips at our table and were welcomed.
Our visits to Wing Daddys on Mesa are always the best. We love the food and are always treated well. We recently had a birthday party for our grandson, a party of 12. Our waitress Julie was great! All the managers are great also and always come by to say hi! We try to go once to twice a month. Best potato salad ever!!!
Called in an order for take out and had some red flags, ranch tasted weird either someone didn't follow the recipe or just expired ingredients. And the celery on the veggie sticks were mushy and just super off-putting. Called in to give em a heads up and spoke to some manager named Gil or whoever he was and just hung up on me mid sentence. Thanks , wing daddys! For an unpleasant takeout experience, wings were fortunately good, but they don't taste the same dipped in bottled hidden valley ranch. Also, thank you for hanging up on me mid call. I could really feel the love on that one! And thanks for the mushy celery, forget eating nice crispy celery! Ps. If Gil or the manager on duty may 10th at 1:56pm reads this. Quality control means checking for errors like the celery in the pictures. No one likes mushy celery Thanks!
A little bit of a lengthy post. My wife and I decided to go to wing daddy’s because the shack was full and we had a movie to go to so it was convenient for us since there was no wait. First off the manager was nice and cleaned the table that we wanted and joked around great guy! Now our server was absolutely horrible. Hardly ever came to check on us and was only worried about the guy across from us that was constantly flirting with her. Aside from that our food was cold and not extra crispy as requested. After we finished our food we waited almost 30-40 min to pay even after numerous attempts to get her attention and saw us, just to be ignored. Even after finally getting her attention she took almost another 10-15 min to pay because once again she had to flirt with the guy across from us and get him his beer. I used to love this place and being in the military and coming back to visit family I always looked forward to eating her. I used to brag about how good this place was to my friends not from El Paso. Really sad how much I used to look forward to coming just to find another place to eat.
Upon arrival there was hardly an workers attentive to us coming in to the store. You can see the disorganization and mismanagement with 4 on the floor working with tables dirty. When we came in you can see 5+ tables trashed from previous customers. The food was lukewarm like the main courses whole the French fries were scorching hot. Definitely needs someone to look at this locations routines.
A perfect location for game day and delicious wings! Our server Sidney was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had about the menu. Both managers (Gilbert and Mark) stopped by our table to make sure everything was going well. Wing Daddy's on Mesa is a must stop if you're in the Westside of town!
Waited over 30min for food and we got cold little pieces of batter. The manager essentially stated that we get what we get. He was full of excuses. Definitely went downhill. I recommend a different Wing Daddy’s.
The tables also smelled of that old wet rag smell. It was so pungent and off putting.
