As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by smiling faces and warm hearts. Miss Kitty took care of us for dinner tonight and she couldn’t have been any sweeter.
We had to at least try some of their “famous” wings and opted for a 5-count of the Cajun dry rub ones. The smokey flavor was solid and the Cajun spices were yummy. The wings themselves were very juicy.
For dinner I ordered the Macalicious bowl with pulled pork (think family size serving!) and my wife ordered the catfish dinner. Everything was fantastic and we had way more food than we could eat.
The music was a bit more Caribbean when we walked in, which was fine with us and totally fun, but it eventually shifted to more pop stuff. Roomy dining room and even a patio when the weather cooperates. I’d gladly come back!!
I had chicken wing meal. With greens,beans,and corn bread. Beans were the only thing that was good. Greens were terrible as was the chicken had no seasoning. Corn bread was basic . Food was terrible. Sweet tea was $4. Pricey and meal ended up being $28 and add a tip for $4. $32 for just 1 person. If u want good food , past by this place .
Delicious but expensive. I laughed outloud when I saw the $10 cup of green beans in person, it's like a cup used for dipping sauce lol. Please also checkout my picture of the $7 cornbread, it's cute. And this is no hate, the food was fantastic and I am cool with paying these fees when I travel, but please Wing Champs, do not think for a minute you are fooling anyone with the tiny servings for huge prices, we're not dumb we're just hungry ????
Side note - The owners are sensitive as you can see in their response to my review and others, but the food is delicious. Ordering from Wing Champ via DoorDash means you will play a very high price for very good food. Hopefully this store can contact DoorDash to fix the prices on the menu to what they claim they are and be less sensitive to a four star review in the future ????????♀️
Came in to order take out (tried to call, but too busy). We got the catfish + fries, cornbread, Buffalo chicken dip and wings. Everything was delicious! The cornbread and wings were outstanding. I got the hot - hot honey garlic sauce, which was perfect (IMHO). The catfish was good, tasty seasoning. The Buffalo dip was good, too. Would like to try to dine in one of these days.
Great food, atmosphere and service! Everything was delicious. The wings some of the best, I have had and the sauces spot on (buffalo, mango habanero, BUBBC BBQ). The chicken buffalo dip, fries, potatoes and onions, mac and cheese did not disappoint either! Everyone left happy and full! All this great food came with awesome service provided by Shawn. If we are ever back in the area definitely will be back!
Super friendly staff and cool music played. They have a nice selection of food too. Nice bar area in front. The inside could use some brighter color, and blinds on the windows would be a plus. And not a fan of plastic eating utensils or the plastic child size takeaway cup for dine-in eating.
In the area visiting and the wife and I decided to stop by Wing Champ. The setup and decor of the place was superb with both indoor and enclosed outdoor seating. Staff was friendly, but our one complaint was that the service was a bit slow especially with us being the first customers there. Once our meal did arrive, i will say that it was delicious with their macaroni and cheese being the star of the show. Overall enjoyable experience
This place was ok. Mac and cheese was good small portions though.Green beans hat a good flavor but salty. Ribs were tough with a hint of lighter fluid. Catfish was okay nut salty, 6 wing dings for 10.00 was too much.Collard greens were ok and my drink was week. The best thing about our experience was our Server!!! Ms Kitty is the absolute BEST!!!!!!
