Our new favorite dessert place in Houston! Soo many options to choose from! The cakes very really good and they had soo many options in ice creams! They also have a coffee section as well. Street parking available but the street can get packed. The prices are on the higher side.

Went for a second visit to try their brownie sundae and I think they earned a daily customer ???? so good!
AMAZING CHOCOLATE TRES LECHES. The uncle cake is HUGE, good but a bit overly sweet for me, a little dry. Vanilla tres leches also very good, although the corner slice had some sad dry cake on the edge???????? still loved this place, very nice service, good quality cake that doesn’t leave me bloated.
We had an excellent experience! The lady that helped us was very kind! Our cake slice was absolutely delicious. ????

This place is a trip. The size of desserts is ridiculous. Talk about a glucose challenge covered in chocolate…yum! I tried the strawberry cake, because I love strawberries and cream cheese icing. It was really good with a hot cup of coffee. Of course, my teens ordered milkshakes, with one being blue!
Ordered an alfagato. Expresso was surprisingly overwhelming on the strong tasting side compared to other places I've ordered at so it was hard to enjoy the ice cream. Had a sample of the chocolate covered pretzels, and it was fabulous!! Must try the Texas Frito Brittle.
Everytime I visit Houston it is a must that I come to the Chocolate Bar. They never disappoint satisfying my sweet tooth.
Nothing like the old chocolate bar that used to be iconic in Houston. The whimsical energy of the establishment has been washed away and replaced with nothing special…just another dessert store. There are far fewer choices for chocolate confections and the dessert itself was average. The store used to contain unique chocolate candies and desserts that you couldn’t find anywhere else. Now it passes muster for the masses but lacks that genuine quality and uniqueness that it had before.
