Staying at the Wine Valley Inn was a delightful experience! From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by its cozy and inviting atmosphere. The location was perfect—right in the heart of Solvang, with easy access to the town’s quaint shops, tasting rooms and Danish bakeries. ||||The staff were friendly and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. ||||The inn itself was beautifully maintained, with charming décor that captured the spirit of Solvang. Our room (king junior suite) was cozy, spacious and clean. We used the fire place both night, it really warmed up the room on the cold nights. Only negative about the room, if you open the shades to get natural light in, you don’t have much privacy. Also, need a little more counter space in bathroom for this particular room. Looking at photos of other rooms there seems to be bigger bathrooms. ||||We can’t wait to come back and experience the magic of Solvang and this wonderful inn again! Next time we would like to stay in one of the cottages.
On the outside this is an adorable inn. Check in went great. We arrived in our room which seemed nice however when I went to hang up my makeup bag the hook was hanging off the door and the toilet holder as well. Okay seems picky but for the amount of money we were spending should have been taken care of long before. The towels in the bathroom were thin and small. I'm a small women and they just fit around me. I would hope as an upscale type hotel they would have been nicer. Hopefully those things are addressed because location is wonderful.
Cute boutique hotel in the middle of Solvang. Walking distance to everything you'd want and need: Restaurants, wine tasting, and shopping. They had a decent breakfast that was good. We stayed in the tower room and felt like we were in Denmark, Cozy and quaint. To get to the room there were lots of stairs but we didn't mind. Would stay again.
This was such a cute hotel, complete with a koi pond, fountains, and an outdoor fireplace in the back. Our rooms were clean and cozy, but next time we visit, I would love to stay in one of the cottages. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and included eggs, either sausages or bacon, danishes, and more! The fitness center, though small, was well-equipped. I loved that it was within a 10-minute walk to many attractions and restaurants. The staff also checked in often to make sure everything was okay. Would recommend this place!
Absolutely loved my stay, they were very gracious with an early check-in. Centrally located right in the heart of Solvang, with wineries peppering the community. The hotel has three floors, was asked if I preferred the second or the third, granted no elevator went to the third. The room was adorable, with its own wood burning stove. Breakfast was also provided every morning, with hot coffee and juice. The staff was incredible, very helpful and very informative! Truly enjoyed my stay and will be back!!
This place was such a great stay ! We arrived early and they were able to accommodate and check us in early with a free room upgrade. Room was so clean and bed was very comfortable, had the best sleep ever. The hotel location is perfect right next to a cute little bar, and in the center of all the cute shops, overall great stay loved the environment and the cute fireplaces all around the property, would definitely stay here again we had an amazing stay !
This is our second stay. The staff is all very friendly and accommodating. The rooms could use a little better upkeep and updating but serve the purpose. We love all the little nooks and spots to hang out and share a bottle of wine at the end of the day.
It’s complicated to explain. Check in was easy. The staff is very courteous. Our room was not ready around 3pm. They guarantee by 4pm. So we waited and plugged the EV to the charger across the street. When I returned the staff said they were to find me available room that I would like on the ground floor facing the cottage garden. Score ! The room was small. Very clean. But the bed creaked a bit and we both had a back ache in the AM. The room upstairs was noisy till about 10pm. Being on the ground floor near a walkway well people conversations become something we didn’t want to join. Breakfast every morning which is not bad. The location is great picturesque and convenient to the main shopping strip. Overall a generous 4 of 5 factoring that we just love the town.
