Best WLM Reviews
Absolutely loved my experience at Windsor. We made a reservation and we were seated right away. Service was incredible! Really friendly and kind. Made me want to be friends with everyone there.
And wow… The cocktail, number 131, is my new favorite drink. I will definitely be back and I am bringing my husband because I know he would love it!
The fish was flavorless, and the BBQ ribs were undercooked. The batter the fish was fried in looked and tasted awful. The sausage slices from our appetizer plate were just as bad tasting. My wife liked the fish and ate it. Our server was fantastic. He was apologetic and removed the fish and ribs from the bill. No condescending attitude, no irritating words from him. I tipped him an extra $20 in cash on our way out he was so understanding. If we go back, I'll definitely know what not to order.
Had a weird experience. Food was great. Atmosphere great. Took 10 min to have someone serve me. A male bartender served the person to the left and right of me but frustratingly dismissed me over and over again. So much so a woman, two seats to the right noticed. Another bartender; female, served me. This all the while the male bartender was right next to her. He never acknowledged me even while I ordered. He was right in front of me. I haven't felt this kind of frustration for years. Some people will may know exactly what I'm talking about. Hopefully I'm just making this more of this than is actually happening. Maybe it was innocent and absent mindfulness. Maybe I'm overreacting.
Maybe not.
Great atmosphere. Brunch is awesome. Food and drinks were delicious! Prices are reasonable. We had the Matedor, Eggs Benedict and Bloody Mary's!
Our first time at the Windsor, an upscale cocktail lounge and restaurant. We decided to go for brunch, which is served on Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 3pm. We were seated on the patio, which is dog friendly and quite lovely. For our complimentary cocktail, my wife chose a Bloody Mary, and we went with the cheese fondue for the appetizer. I chose the Simple Life Breakfast, and Shanda tried the "Matador" two eggs over easy, served over grilled cheddar potatoes, crispy tortilla, salsa verde , and avocado relish thier version of Mexican chilaquiles The food was rustic, and the service was great they are obviously very popular. Thank you, Yelp, for inviting us to Elite Week!
Located in the central Phoenix Windsor is a must visit bar and restaurant offering various cocktails, craft beers, wines and lip smacking food. Their backyard style patio is just right for winter brunch with friends & family.
For starter have ordered deviled egg dip with applewood smoked bacon and gorgonzola. The dip itself is a creamy blend of deviled egg, and addition of applewood smoked bacon brings delightful smokiness that elevates the overall taste. The star of the show was, undoubtedly, the fish and chips. The fish was perfectly fried to a golden brown, with a crispy exterior that gave way to tender, flaky white fish inside. The batter was light and seasoned just right, complementing the natural flavor of the fish without overpowering it. The chips were equally impressive – thick-cut, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside, seasoned with just the right amount of salt.
Accompanying the fish and chips was a side of house-made tartar sauce that added a tangy, creamy contrast to the dish. The portion size was generous, ensuring a satisfying meal that left me full and happy.
To wash down the meal, I opted for one of their local craft beer , chose a refreshing pale ale, which paired perfectly with the hearty meal, enhancing the overall dining experience.
The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that my dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish.
Overall had a wonderful experience and would definitely reccomend.
The vibes, the food, the drinks, the service - you brought it all. As someone who’s worked in the food/bar industry - service was 10/10 and food was incredible. We asked for recommendations from our server Nafia ( I hope I’m spelling that right!) and it exceeded our expectations.
Thank you for leaving an impressionable experience, I will definitely be a returning customer!
First time here, enjoyed very much, good food, good tunes, great service (our server was timely, friendly, and all-around great. The only downside was someone near the bar (server? they were here when we came in and after we left) who was gyrating a bit to many of the tunes which was a bit uncomfortable as I was with my grand nephew). Otherwise, the first of what I'm assuming many visits to come.
