Best WLM Reviews
It's okay. The place looks nice and beautiful. But there's a few stains here and there. The beds are pretty much Very.
Clean. In the shower.
Head Toilet In sink work good. Jess needs better cleaning. And dogs should be allowed , but besides that Every.
Thing's good If they just clean it the walls more and the bathroom It would be perfect
The place is ran down and kinda old. Yes it smells like pot in the hallways but the staff were so lovely and sweet and the beds were comfy. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. Location wasn't bad no one bothered us. I've stayed in pricier places and haven't had the kind of service we had.
Room #214
I'm conflicted about how to approach this review... I don't want to offend ppl who can't afford to lay their heads at better establishments.
But, if you're a person whose normal standard of living is comfortable & clean, then this place isn't for you. Don't waste your time and money.
There is a NO REFUND sign literally at the front desk (that I didn't see until I asked for a refund).
I don't want to nit-pick & bash this place, but let's just say, I checked in at 4 pm & checked back out at 4:45 pm. I'm sorry I couldn't do it. It's safe to say this place a lil frightening ???? , I've seen worst before, but this cracks my top 5.
I shouldn't even be leaving a review, but I just don't want anyone to lose out on $80 because they didn't trust their instinct upon your search for cheap hotels.
The other guest staying here seems content, which.. I'm happy for them that they can find peace within those walls, but... I can't, nor probably you...
If the lowest you'd go is a motel 6, travel lodge, than yea... it's similar, but a lot dirtier and darker.
Now, if you don't care about lose hair in your bed, sticky floors, dust everywhere, missing fire alarms, heavy dust bunnies in the fire extinguisher, no iron, sticky remote controller with dead batteries... then... go ahead. If getting out of the climates is your main priority, then go ahead.
I didn't want to take pictures because I knew this review would be brutal enough.
Now, onto the brighter side...
POSITIVES :
1• There's some good food in the area (walking distance) as well as corner stores.
2• The lady at the front desk tried...
She did the best she could.
3• Easy to find, a good amount of parking
And... now back to a few more NEGATIVES:
Don't come here if you know you NEED a clean place to stay, if your nose can detect mold/mildew, if a missing drawer bothers you, a decently lit room, a remote controller that works, & a sanitized elevator.
You certainly get what you pay for. It’s the cheapest in that area and has availability in a crunch. That being said, it was rough but you have to expect that a little bit. It did smell like weed. The halls and stairways weren’t clean but the room itself wasn’t horrendous. The mattresses weren’t comfy but it was somewhere to stay. Staff was friendly, the people in the building seemed to mind their own. Would I stay again given the choice, no. However like I said, you get what you pay for.
DO NOT GO THERE. It was the worst hotel I have ever been to. The hotel smells like weed, only one light works in the room, there is no lock on the bathroom door, and there is no deadbolt on the door and it’s in a place that looks like it really needs extra protection. The staff is nice, but at what cost? It looks like they don’t follow safety and cleanliness regulations. There is dust everywhere and I didn’t even think about using the shower. Whole thing gave me horror movie vibes.
The floors were sticky all the way from the time you get in and where your room is at at. It smells like a run down casino. Zero towels, pillow cases, trash bucket in the room. Ac was broken. Staff don’t care and had attitude while asking for supplies. No housekeeper to be found to get supplies.
Stayed a week and that is all I could take.
Same story: long ride, night, tired... (as all good horror movies start)
As coming from Europe and the British Royals are the Windsors we thought - that will be a great place to stay.
But far away from... The Queen would cry about this place being named Windsor...
The girl at the desk was friendly - that‘s the only positive thing to say.
On the way to our room again the thought about being in a horror movie...
There was a bad smell all way in the hotel. One room was sealed by police(see picture) - don‘t know if someone had been killed or if bugs invaded this room. (Edit: seems to be something with money from the „renter“.)
In our room the light didn‘t work properly and water neither. Anyway I got us some bottled water for teethcleaning (did not even think about using shower).
The whole room smelt like someone has smoked 200 cigarettes a day for 5 years. Also the sheets had this special smell...
At 4am we booked online an adequate Hotel for the next night an left quickly - hopefully to see this place never again...
