We had the crab cake sandwich and it did not disappoint!!! Fries were extra however the meal came with chips.
TV’s all over and great seating no matter where you sit.
I have not been here in over 20 some years, and when I say service has not missed a beat, it has not. It appears to have new owners, and they did not miss a beat, just like I remember from 20 years before.
The atmosphere was nice. Great music playing and everyone around us was enjoying themselves.
The food was terrific. The server was terrific. I mean, this young man did it all, seated us, took our orders , delivered our orders, checked in to see if all was okay often, and I even saw him busting down tables.
My food was so delicious, I ordered a second order to go. I most definitely will be back again.
Atmosphere was nice, server was very pleasant Dj was great. I had the crab dip which was really good lump glean meat not claw. Drinks was ok I only had a lemon drop
My food was trashed when I went to the bathroom.
I had a half of plate of food left and was requesting a box.
After paying $17 for a pretzel the least the staff could do was ask if you’re done before piling other people’s trash on your plate.
There was still 3/4 people at the table, but they were dancing and enjoying themselves before they realized.
We had approximately 9 people in our party. 4 of us order soup (3 cream of crab, 1 Maryland crab). I order the cream of crab. The cream of crab barely had any crab meat in it (mostly cream) and it had a weird taste. I tried to add Old Bay, crackers… nothing was working. Ultimately, everyone (all 4 people) ended up putting the soup to the side and not eating it because it simply wasn’t good. I also ordered the stuffed salmon and it just wasn’t it. I only ate half the plate because I was hungry, but ultimately, it wasn’t good and I didn’t take it home. The crab cake wasn’t good. Something was missing from it and I just couldn’t put my finger on it. The salmon was bland. No real flavor. I was using the cocktail sauce to give it some flavor. My broccoli was cool. Overall the meal was very mediocre and really not worth the money. The music was loud and we couldn’t really hear each other, which is my only gripe about the atmosphere. The music itself was exactly what you would expect to hear during the live bar nights there (sexy red, glorilla, meg the stallion) at 4:30pm. The service was cool. Our party came in staggered and the server was assisted and accommodated appropriately, so I appreciated that. We also stayed after to we paid to cut my dad’s birthday cake and they were cool about that and didn’t rush us… even gave us extra napkins for the cake.
We visited the Windsor Inn on Tuesday karaoke night. The food was good. We had so much fun. In addition, the alcoholic beverages are so tasty.
The Windsor Inn is a great place to relax and have fun. My male friend and I come here every weekend and the service is always great. We came to watch the Ravens game tonight and there were no problems. However, when you want to make reservations you must have a party on six or more. That’s the only problem I saw.
Neighborhood place recently remodeled. First Maryland crab cakes in seriously, 4 years. Waitress was nice, just not as attentive as she should have been. When I spend $30.00 on a plate, I shouldn't have to ask twice for silverware or be presented plastic utensils when dining in. Otherwise, was a good experience and enjoyed the atmosphere.
