Positive: An older motel. It had most of the amenities one expects but its nothing famcy. It was affordable. Negative: The room was very small with porr ventalation. There was no coffe maker. Everthing was fine in the room but the outside area was not clean and there are only a few parking places near the roooms.
When I checked in, the child at the desk gave me a key to a room that was occupied. Not once, but twice! Boy those were awkward conversations.
Once we got a room to ourselves, had to barricade the doors so the same wouldn’t happen to us.
Rooms are nominally non-smoking but smell like smoke. Hair and dirt in the sheets; likely hasn’t been washed between guests. Mold and leftover food in cupboards.
Overall a miserable experience- wouldn’t do this even if it were free; a tent would’ve been a more peaceful stay!
Rooms are old and outdated. No cable, no wifi. Pleasant people own it. It was clean. Walls are thin, lol, can hear next room fart. No complaints otherwise.
It's a small, dated little motel on the outskirts of Lynden, WA. It is clean and the beds are fairly comfortable, but everything is pretty old, with the exception of the tv (which is a flat screen). There is a phone number on the office door that you need to call (I hope you brought your cell phone!) if no one is in the office when you go to check in. Otherwise, you'll be standing there for an indefinite amount of time before you get any help. There is Wi-Fi and cable TV, got showers and clean towels. It's not a bad place to stay, just has a few little quirks.
Skusville, terrible, do Not stay here. I would give zero star if available. The pictures on website is Not what you get. The carpet is disgusting. The bed was supposed to be a queen, more like a super single. The shower ???? is horrible, could not even wash my hair. No plug -ins available to charge cell or blow dry hair if you brought your own. NO coffee in room, NO hair blower. The flower beds depicted on website do not exist, dirt and weeds. We will never stay here again. Wish I could post the pictures I took to give you a better view of what you are in for.
The room was…fine. I’m not sure the room was worth the $110 we had to pay to stay here, but we just needed a room for one night before going up to Canada. Would not have wanted to stay here more than 1 night (the towels looked questionable and there was a loofah in the shower?), but it was fine for what it was. The TV also didn’t work right.
It was terrible! The walls are very thin so you heard everything your neighbors were doing all night which was not sleeping. There was mold in the shower grout. Very old heaters and air conditioner with shades that were falling apart. No parking for each room. A skid row trailer park right by your rooms and homeless people living in their vehicles. All in all it was a very terrible experience and we did not stay the third night.
