Best WLM Reviews

Booked it through a service for what I thought was a good price. Initially it appeared to be clean. While relaxing and before bed found cockroaches. LOTS and LOTS of COCKROACHES. At least refunded credit card quickly. Maybe you will get a clean room. Maybe you'll get bedbugs and cockroaches. Enjoy
Really nice people work here and it was the best price in town for a last minute Saturday night booking. It’s nothing fancy but it was a clean and comfortable place to stay. Our dog loved it too! We love to travel with our girl so we always appreciate a dog friendly hotel.
The proximity to downtown was perfect! We got to everything in town that we wanted in town within minutes.
One thing I’d like to note, our room had a very strong cleaning product smell and it made it a little hard to breathe. It had faded by the time we checked out but man! It’s good to know it was clean but maybe the fabuloso needs to be diluted a little bit.
Thank you Windcrest Inn!
Positive: It was relatively cheap, considering I made the res about 2 hours before I checked in, late, on Saturday afternoon. Negative: The linens were possibly original to the hotel. The towels were thin and rough. Room was not dirty, it seemed as if no one had stayed there for a while Afew dead bugs on the floor. If housekeeping had been there recently they would have been picked up.
Excellent value compared to nearby alternatives.
Stayed 3 days and came back for another night.
If you don’t enjoy the pitter patter of little feet running around then go for the second floor. Same goes for every 2 level motel.
Only disappointment was the free breakfast. I booked online with breakfast included but it’s only available on weekends when the price quadruples.
Bed was comfortable, towels good quality and staff is friendly.
We only stayed for one night but had zero issues checking in & out. No problems with the room—AC was nice and cold everything pretty standard & we got a nice price. They offer a continental breakfast but we did not try it out
VERY disgusting. Booked through a service and thought we had good deal because it appeared clean. It wasn't, Lots and lots of COCKROACHES! Maybe you'll have better luck, maybe you'll get bedbugs and cockroaches.
Not going to lie, Place is not the prettiest, and kinda outdated, but im only there to sleep, I'm out and about all day/night anyway. It was cheap compared to the surrounding hotels and close to Main street. But one thing i can say, good people work here. My shower head wasnt working, so they easily switched me rooms. ALSO im super grateful, I got myself locked out of my room a little after midnight, I called the emergency # on the sheet of paper they give you at the front desk since the office closes at 10PM. He came to my rescue in just a few minutes. If you cant go up the stairs then be mindful. There is no elevators.
They charge an extra 20$ per person in your room…. We booked a room with two queen beds and were charged additional for our two children, even though it should be a 4 person room.
They claim to have a free breakfast but upon asking the front office we were told that BREAKFAST WAS CANCELED for the week (for the owner to sleep in, presumably) and would be back during the weekend. This is understandably upsetting as we paid extra for a hotel with ‘hot breakfast’
When requesting an extra pillow, the attendant told us that they were out and we should “Go check Walmart and buy one” even though it was 9pm on Thanksgiving night and all stores were closed.
