Totally unique facility. This is a transformation of a steel mill building with a modern twist. Very accommodating and friendly staff that goes out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. Our room was spacious, clean, very comfortable and well appointed (luxurious). As for the view, the hotel looks over the remnants of the old steel mill buildings. This is unique for history buffs like myself. The Keurig coffee maker was definitely a plus. The lack of a microwave was no problem as most facilities aren't providing them anymore. There were plenty of good food selections in the building. Outlet stores were in abundance in the building. The casino was near, clean and friendly. We definitely will return to this terrific hotel.
Location was great, we stayed there to go to the Christmas market. Dinner at Chop House was really fantastic.
However, there were multiple issues with our stay, and I would not stay there again nor recommend it. 1) I called the front desk ahead of arrival and asked them to put my sister’s name on one of the rooms so she could get a key. I was assured she would be able to get a key, I had a much longer drive than my sisters did. But at the front desk, no one had record of that conversation, even tho I gave my sister the name of the person I spoke with. 2) heat/air doesn’t work in the rooms without the key in a slot by the door, but there is no mention of that anywhere, so our room temp was very uncomfortably warm. 3) smoking is allowed in the casino, so we couldn’t stay to enjoy the live music/dancing, which would have been really fun. The smell of old smoke and people actually smoking was unbearable. 4) spa promised me they had hypoallergenic products, but actually did not, and my sister had a severe reaction. 5) bed bugs.
Do not stay here. We were so excited for a sisters weekend but it was really not a nice hotel/casino, especially for the price.
Casino was extremely clean and all employees were friendly. Front desk was very helpful and offered early check-in and late check-out. Secure parking made the stay very worth it. Did not make any money but had fun trying. It is well worth the stay and will do it again.
Had the privilege to stay at the Wind Creek Casino while attending a concert at their event center.
After a rain soaked ride through the mountains to get to the Wind Creek I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of parking.
Upon entering the Facility I was impressed at the Cleanliness and style of the building. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and professional and the room was spectacular.
I was in awe of the ease it was to get to the restaurants/Food courts and then how nice the Event center was. On top of a great Concert and Splendid food and a good night's rest I'd return back to the Wind Creek anytime... it was the complete opposite experience I had going to a concert at the Hard Rock in AC.
The hotel is very nice and has all the amenities you would hope for. It's convenient if you are coming to gamble as everything is connected including the outlets. My only problem with the stay was the casino. I wasn't thrilled with the variety of gaming available but my real reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that half of the casino floor is smoking and is not separated from the non-smoking part so the whole place smells like smoke.
My friends and I had a wonderful time at Wind Creek. We loved the food and wait staff at Urban Table and we enjoyed playing a lot of fun slots on the casino floor in the evening.
Our hotel room was immaculate and the beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend!!

I contacted the help desk for comp option and the agent was very courteous and helpful. Upon room arrival, I was impressed of the setting, the cleanliness, the accommodation itself was superb. In addition, I usually enjoy the casino as well and of course the amenities. I have to say it was a great experience and I truly recommended. I will definitely revisit fairly soon.
The hotel is beyond clean and nice. We had room service for a very robust breakfast at a reasonable price. Hung was our server. The outlet mall on the way to the casino (indoor) was a really nice feature that distracts from the long walk. The casino was simply amazing ! Enough gaming for every taste and no smell of smoke at all ! We ate at Chop- a steakhouse. reasonable and perhaps the best onion soup I have ever had in my life. Great experience, YOU NEVER NEED TO GO TO ATLANTIC CITY - this casino is way better !
