Very attentive team Winchester OBGYN has! Very easy to make an appointment even reschedule. The staff is very friendly, and caring and are sweet. This team actually takes the time and listens to any questions or concerns you may have. I highly recommend Winchester OBGYN!
Dr. Edwards is a wonderful doctor. She truly cares about her patients and takes time to really listen. You never feel rushed during a visit. Five stars!
Great practice, fantastic doctors. Throughout the entire pregnancy they were attentive, caring, and answered all our questions thoughtfully. My wife had a smooth delivery with Dr. Conroy!
The only negative experience we have is with their new call system. I hope they change it back!
It's a great OBGYN office. From the moment you walk in you feel comfortable .I'm a new patient and so far I've seen two of the 10 doctors at the practice.(All women)
Both were very helpful answering all questions and concerns.
The reception area is huge ,no one is crowed. Its so very clean and bright .I totally recommend this group of doctors.Older or younger patients will both be comfortable .
Dr. King is a Godsend. She is patient, compassionate, knowledgeable and a great Physician. When health issues start to feel overwhelming it’s refreshing to have a physician that cares as well as knows how to best treat the issue. I am very comfortable entrusting my health with her.
I initially liked going here, but the further into my appointments I got. The worse my experience became. Yes, they are very clean, and the odds of you getting in are much high due to amount of staff. But that also makes it very impersonal and you get tossed from doctor to doctor. You never building up a relationship with someone to ease those new mother worries. And if you do try to ask questions or really talk to someone. Only Dr. King and one other nurse were extremely helpful and kind. Otherwise you get brushed off with a “ we just wing it”. So no birthing plan or communication of any kind. In fact that was the biggest issue for me was communication. Here’s the run down.
1. It took calling multiple times, just to get a hold of the new appointment manager.
2. They don’t tell you that they don’t do ultrasounds in their building right off the bat. So they end up sending you to the hospital across the street. Who does split billing, and zero estimates for the hospital half of the bill. Good luck with that. I had to call insurance multiple times, and the hospital. It’s the main reason why I left. Hospital was that bad.
3. Blood work for the glucose test is done through a 3rd party located downstairs. You will need a map to locate it. Entrance is outside the main entrance on the side of the building. Good luck
4. When I had enough and decided to transfer back to my original OBGYN . That was 2 hours away from where I live now. They never told me, when I went to pick up my paperwork, that I could never come back. That if I needed to for some reason, come back. They couldn’t use my insurance because the code used would be expired and unusable in the future. I know this because my original OBGYN made a mistake and could not take me. I would have not transferred if this was the case. But I did not know about this expired code before hand. They asked me if I had read it in the letter that they had sent me. I didn’t because I didn’t get this letter until 2 weeks after the fact.
So in my 3rd trimester I left scared and frustrated. I really didn’t want to deliver at that hospital that they were affiliated with. So I left and i wish I had done so sooner. I ignored the red flags and the things that made me uncomfortable. But I write this for the soon to be moms. Who might be spared from the lack of communication and frustration of being tossed around. Trust your instincts and do what you think is right for your baby. I just hope this information helps someone.
