I hate this place, every time I come there is a problem from under cooked cinnamon rolls to them trying to over charge you for things you didn’t order. I ordered a strawberry smoothie and the woman tried to charge me for a chilla which is coffee based drink and m told me that’s what I ordered when I’m clearly getting handed a strawberry smoothie with milk and what really blew my mind is that they don’t even offer “chillas” in a strawberry flavor!!. Time before that I ordered a cinnamon roll and I had to exchange it 4 times because each one was not cooked completely I settled for a glazed donut with out getting the $2 difference refunded and she told me there’s no price difference from a $4 cinnamon roll and a $2 glazed donut. This will be the last they get any money from me!! Normalize taking your business elsewhere if you’re not appreciated or treated with respect and courtesy
I use to go late night and always the cashier/ cookers are so welcome . They made suggestions that I still love like the Santa Fe chicken Sandwich
Me and my three grandkids came in the store, right there where they keep the coffee stir and the sticks to stir the coffee. The tray was dirty and nasty hadn’t been cleaned. Just they just keep throwing the things in there. Damn my granddaughter got a doughnut with hair in it the Oreo things my grandson said it taste like milk One said it taste like water. It taste like milk and One said they don’t know what it taste like. It’s a disgrace to the name. All I can say is HEALTH DEPARTMENT!
The food seems old and stale and the cashier not very attentive to customers waiting in line . Retraining is definitely needed on both ends.
If you're black or mexican, don't come here. Sadly, these are Central Americans who hate others. We ordered 2 everything bagels and never got them. We left without iur food and without our money. 2 other people of black decent stood there as well. Only Salvadorans were being served. Stay away, people!!
Came in to order 2 sandwiches they charged me then they told me that they didn't have it after I was charged then they asked one of the guys that was with me what would he like to get instead and never asked if I wanted a different sandwich So I asked for a refund Waste of time coming here They need work on customer service 2 stars only for the juice and 2 donuts
It amazing in America that Winchell’s can’t find anyone to work here that speaks English. I had to order donuts using google translate. It’s a shame
Some of the staff are extremely rude. About a week ago, the last time I went there, I was trying to order a torta via phone. The staff wouldn't pick up the phone, and when she finally did she answered, "stop bothering", and hung up. I addressed her about this when I walked in as I was trying to pick up something for lunch that day. She was apologetic, however, there is no excuse to pick up a business phone like it's a personal line. Very disappointed and don't see myself going there anytime soon ????.
