The older black man at this location should be fired. He was very rude and nonchalant. Made my turkey burger very salty. I went to the counter and told him my burger was very salty and that the onions were left off. He states to me that I most not have ordered any onions and than walked off. The manager had just walked out before i told my burger back up to the counter. I was the only customer in the restaurant besides another lady who had already ordered a milkshake and sat down. I waited till He came back around and mentioned to him that my burger was extremely salty and could I have onions added, he had a very bad attitude went got the onions threw them on the counter and walked off with no resolution to the salty burger. Me and my kids waited a little longer waiting for him to remake it. Another couple walked in an ordered at this point me and my kids had been waiting a while trying to get my burger fixed. At this point I got upset mention it to him again he just looked at me like whatever and walked off. It took for me to raise my voice and let him know I was not excepting just anything and that he was obviously ignoring me I had mentioned the salty burger to him multiple times and he walked off like I wasn't there. I think the manager heard the commotion and came back in and corrected my order but this time no pickles were put on my burger. The manager was very nice about everything. The turkey burger I would give a zero, meat was so rubbery and not completely cooked. It wasn't even real turkey more of a store bought low quality frozen patty already made up. I've had the turkey burger at another location and the meat was real vs. This location. He also didn't ring everything up on my order. I'm pregnant and didn't want to take any changes so I went up the street to a restaurant call MOJO Cafe. Ordered a turkey burger very big difference there food was so good and customer service top notch. There burger are hand patted outNever coming here again, I will not spend money at a business that treat there customer like trash and put out low quality food at a high price. This restaurant was very clean the food was good not a bad burger I must say. The kitchen was all open you could see all procedures from the counter. Sometimes it's a good thing . I prefer not to see. The woman that took our order was polite. The only thing I didn't like was employee in kitchen had no hair restraint neither did. Now while it's only you must be properly dressed to prepare food. And though he had a beautiful head of wild hair dark hair he was not properly attired for preparing food.
Normally when I visit this wimpy Location I am very satisfied. Today I was not happy with the food at all. The only reason I finished my burger is because I was hungry. My wife and children wasn’t even truly satisfied with their food either. The meat had no flavor and it was cooked way too hard for my liking. The fried mushrooms were hard and not edible it was horrible. This is my go too when I do not order fries.
First time here. Food was excellent. Cooked fresh in front of us and exactly to order. Burgers are smash style so you gotta know how to anppreciate a good one. Appetizer came quick and food wasn’t far behind. Very clean and friendly staff. Will be back
Wimpy’s Burgers and Fries was a hidden gem right in the heart of Bartlett. Our food was great! I had the Turkey burger and fries. The burger was great, the fries were crispy. Service was excellent and friendly. Will definitely be a return guest many times over. Make sure to check out the hidden menu before you order!
Best burgers ever at this location!! Service is even better!! Every time I go, I'm always impressed with how it's better than the last time I came.
Good burger, the draw to this place is definitely the selection of toppings. Fresh lettuce, grilled onions or pineapple, jalapenos, and many more items to chose from that are free. Cheese is an additional .79 cents though, and they'll ask you right away what kind of cheese you want (the menu board is clear about that). Battered fries are good, and the salad was fine also. I watched one employee sanitize and clean while we were there so that's good!
We were very pleased with the quality and taste of the burgers and fries, but prices were higher than anticipated. Maybe I'm living in the past, but $13.95 for a cheeseburger and fries seems steep! A little disappointed that the Mac and Cheese kids meal ($7.95) was the Kraft boxed stuff. For a family of 4, expect to spend around $50-60 minimum.
