My sister and I went for supper following a concert on a Sunday. We arrived around 6/630pm. We were greeted immediately and seated in a booth by a lovely young woman.
Our waiter was attentive and our meals arrived quickly. We both opted for cheese steak. I had mine with fries and my sister with onion rings. A pickle and small container of coleslaw came out first. For drinks I ordered the coffee shake made with their cold brew. It was very foamy and delicious. It was served in a pop mug and came with the container the shake was made in on the side
The onion rings were huge and delicious. The cheese steaks were very good as were the fries. We couldn't finish and took the leftovers home.
The menu puts you in mind of what a menu looked like back in the day. The restaurant is 50s on the outside and in. Cannot wait to return.
We came in from seeing Home Free in Lancaster on route 30. Definitely worth the drive.
I believe they close at 730 pm on Sundays and I want to say 8 otherwise.
Staff were very nice. Decor you will want to stop and look at even on the way to the restroom. The restroom was clean. Two stalls and two sinks. There is also a hand drier.
Stop in and bring your phone for pictures.
We are traveling though the area and happened upon wimpy and Dee’s diner and are we glad we did. I wish we were not 8 hours away or we would be here often. We got the Ruben with the French onion soup. This was some of the best French onion soup we have had full of onions and the broth was amazing. The Ruben was great. The server was fast and friendly. We are glad we stopped.
10/10 recommend!!! Cute little spot and great atmosphere. Food was phenomenal and service was even better!
The food was below average french toast was overly toasted. Can go for the vibe check it has 50’s era decor. The food didn’t impressed us so will give a pass.
Classic diner with good food. The restaurant is amazing to explore, with interesting displays on the walls and in display cases. Well kept, clean restrooms, accessible. Great for kids. The food was the usual diner fare, our waitress was amazing. The food was served quickly and super hot. Plenty of parking.
This diner was the mostest!!
Fifties theme, we had a great breakfast ???? on our way to Gettysburgh.
Our server, Gloria, was outstanding. Great prices, large portions. If you are in the area, you should ???? for a meal.
