Very good home cooking. Stopped on the way from Chattanooga to oak ridge and was not disappointed. Pretty good prices and we left full. Ribeye was very good.
Great little place with large variety of good country food. Chicken livers rank among the best I've ever had. The hamburger was a 10/10. So good. Staff was super friendly and cheerful. I will for sure come back anytime I am in Soddy Daisy.
I had a BLT so not much to say. Honestly the prices were a bit high for the type of restaurant. Nearly 4 dollars for a sweet tea, the tea almost cost as much as the French fries.

We went for breakfast. This American diner food tastes like freeeeedommmm. The pancakes are massive and the bacon was perfectly crispy. The staff are sweet and made sure we had everything for a perfect breakfast. We plan on coming back for pie.
Great little place! Came in and on a quiet night, the parking lot was packed, everyone was enjoying their food but despite the crowd, service was prompt and the food came out quickly! The shrimp and grits and fried chicken were phenomenal. The brisket sandwich and the beef liver were good too. Cannot recommend higher!
Called in an order and told the girl wait 25-30min to fix it. Got there 5 min. Early to find a guy had been given my food and brought it back then the girl running the register thought I would pay $59+ for food leaving to someone's house and opened, then returned. Plus she never looked to see if it had been touched/partially eaten. She took it from him and told me the price. I said, "That isn't the food you think I'm gonna pay $60 for is it?" She said, "yes" I said, "No, you cooked it early, gave it to the wrong person they called you from their house as they opened it up and saw it wasn't theirs...no, I'm not. It is trash now." She still saw nothing wrong with the nasty deal a meal she tried to sell me. I thought of 10 scenarios before I said keep the nasty yourself and walked out.
Took someone to eat for their Christmas. Sat at a booth fine. Waitress came over. Asked what special they had. Ordered food. Got food recognizing got slaw no corn for veggies platter okra cold she came over asked how things were. I said didn't get corn got slaw gave it to one that was with me. Then I said okra was cold. She got in face went off I took that in she was not nice. I just kept from getting mad thinking she might have personal life issues going on. I was not ugly or hateful she just was hateful. I did mention it to a co worker of hers. If your asking how things are with the food if you get a sincere answer don't snap go off on the customer
This is a hole in the wall for sure. If you want pristine it's not for you. However the food is great, staff lovely and friendly. It's full of locals up in ages but it's quaint and is well worth supporting. Definitely a mom and pop feel. The pancakes are the size of a hubcap so one is more than enough for most people. ????
