Best WLM Reviews
This cafe has such a classic, nostalgic, small-town charm! My family and I ate here, and we loved everything we ordered. Our server was courteous and very knowledgeable on the menu items! The standout menu-item was definitely the homemade potato chips. They were like mini crispy waffle fries, and they were absolutely amazing. I’ve never had anything like them before, and I probably never will until I visit this spot again one day.
Stopped in for lunch. Check-in process was long and being seated after receiving the text our table was ready was even longer (not the wait, just the process). But, after being seated, the service was impeccable. The menu was great and I had to try their award winning chicken fried steak, it did not disappoint. We also had the chicken salad and chicken and waffles. The salad was fresh and the dressing is amazing. The chicken and waffles were delicious, the chicken was hot and crispy while the waffles were light and fluffy with the perfect sweetness.
Had the mushroom Swiss burger. Good flavor. Also the frito pie. It was ok. Kay the server was very friendly & very attentive! Cool atmosphere- indoor & outdoor seating. Have to say - go for breakfast. Eat lunch somewhere else.
Me and my husband went to Wimberley to celebrate his birthday at the Yurts. We had a late breakfast at Wimberley Cafe, from walking in to leaving everyone was so welcoming and nice! Loved our waitress Bambi! She was so nice, quick and got our order correct. Will definitely be retuning if we are in Wimberley again! Food was great! Highly recommend!
Spent the weekend in Wimberly and got breakfast from here both days. Delicious food! The first day i ordered online to pick up and take back to my cabin. Food was ready in about 20 min. Second day we ate there. Busy crowd for the weekend but we only had to wait 20 minutes or so for a table. Staff was attentive and nice and the country breakfast foods were so good. Over the weekend I tried their pancakes, omelette, biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns and mimosas. All great choices. I won't hesitate to keep getting breakfast from here on any return trips to Wimberly.
Everytime I end up in Wimberley I love coming here for breakfast! My boyfriend and I never leave disappointed and end up being full pretty much the rest of the whole day! Beyond the omelets the chocolate chip pancakes are to die for here!!!
First time here. Cozy little cafe.
Lots of food offerings.
We tried the special which was pot roast as well as a Caesar salad.
Food was underwhelming.
I've never seen such a sad looking salad. Lettuce was wilted and didn't look fresh and crispy.
Maybe 5 little cheap croutons and the "Parmesan cheese" was the cheapest I've ever seen.
Dressing on the side was served in a small plastic sauce container and it was a vinaigrette so it was settled with oil at the top.
Sent it back.
The pot roast was mid. Meat was cooked tender but lacked flavor and the mash potatoes were pretty much mush under the meat. It looked like soup.
Would not recommend.
Service was ok
As we were leaving our server went out the door in front of us and let the door swing back in my face.
My first experience in Wimberley.
No thank u.
Busy, busy, busy! But the wait was less than 2 - 5 min! Inside, outside seating!
Breakfast was delicious! The cook knows how to make crispy hashbrowns and bacon!! Coffee is good, not so bold!! ????
Athena, our server, was so friendly and recommended the fried French toast sticks and they were super delicious!!! She was very attentive even though she had alot of tables and customer!
???????? recommended!!
DOG FRIENDLY on patio with water bowls too!!! This is A+
