Best WLM Reviews
I was nervous coming here with the reviews, but honestly, the staff was great. My son had stuck something in his ear and we were seen in a timely fashion and there was enough support in the room to take care of the inserted object. Everyone we interacted with was kind and upbeat. I can't thank them enough for taking great care of my kiddo.
I totally understand why this hospital have this rating horrific experience. I went in with back pain I have a history with it she did not even examine the places that I needed her to examine besides that she also gave me volume when I specifically said that I don't want any controlled substance. Do your doctors and nurses even hear what we have to say or they just go and do whatever the hell they want? And if I was a junkie guess what your nurse and doctor just risked my sobriety is that okay with you because if it is then your hospital need to be shut the hell down. No wonder why Ohio is the number one in the country with a substance abuse it all starts from your doctors your biggest drug dealers are apparently are your doctors. Shame on you shame on you shame on you shame on you....
I do got to give props to the nurses and the doctors though for being polite and nice kindness was definitely a five star everything else a minus 10
This review is for the urgent care at Wilson Hospital. My son cut his finger badly doing yard work. We went to Wilson Urgent Care because it was the closest. The girl checking us in said "I hope I'm doing this right". At that point we should have left. They took him back to an exam room. The person treating him comes in, doesn't introduce herself, and starts to poke around at his finger. She starts to leave the room and tells him he can wash the wound out in the sink. She comes back after 15 minutes and says it will need stitches. Leaves again for 20 minutes, and we can see her out in the hallway on her phone. She comes back and says it probably doesn't need stitches but she will glue it. Another 20 minute wait while she's on her phone. Then she comes back in and says she is just going to bandage it. I don't know if she was looking for YouTube videos to figure out how to treat his finger or what but she was completely useless. Took him to another urgent care and they said he definitely needed stitches. The unhappy ending was the $200 they charged to our insurance company for doing absolutely nothing. Do not go here and expect any kind of actual medical care.
Been waiting over 2 hours. Haven't left the waiting room yet. Only 1 person here when I came in, packed waiting room now. Several people have been discharged, but they still aren't taking people back.
UPDATE: It's not be 3 HOURS sittin in the waiting room. Extreme back pain and severe allergic reaction to something, currently can feel it getting harder to swallow and breathe.
UPDATE: left after 4 hours of sitting in the er and literally EVERY single patient that came in after me, went back while I still sat in waiting room.
Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND, drive a little further and go ANYWHERE else
Worst hospital I've ever been to . Staff out to lunch or gone fishing . Horrible bedside manor. Completely unprofessional. If I'm bleeding to death , drive me to Dayton or lima id have a better chance of survival. I have no idea how this place stays in business or why anyone would trust their lives to these incompetent ass clowns.
Nightmare. I had a staph infection in my spine and I was in horrendous pain. My symptoms were dismissed by the nurse who kept telling me nothing was wrong and only my wbc was a high. (Sign of infection) My surgeon recognized the signs when he requested I be transferred to St Rita’s where I needed emergency surgery followed by six weeks of Iv antibiotics. The also sent someone else’s medical file with me further complicating everything! I hate to think of what might have happened if another Dr wouldn’t have intervened.
Took my husband there because he fell off a scalpel and we sat in the ER for over three hours not once did they ask him if he needed pain medicine if he was OK on top of that the emergency room is very unclean, unsanitary and understaffed. Definitely will not be coming back here
I have been having severe sciatica nerve pain for 7 months. I was blown off by doctor's at other hospitals. On Sunday I came into Wilson Health emergency room and the doctors and staff ran a CT scan that showed I was suffering from Cauda Equina and required emergency surgery. They had me rushed by ambulance to another hospital 45 minutes away and I had surgery soon after. If it wasn't for the doctor and staff actually listening to me and running the proper test at best id still be in horrendous pain right now and at worst I'd be paralyzed. So thank you so much Wilson Health emergency department for helping me when no one else would listen!!!
