Quick trip to Cedar’s Sinai Orthopedic just around the corner from here. Booked online through Expedia which lists this as a 3 star hotel. Arrived and was really pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, very clean room, provided soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Very quiet when I arrived and fairly quiet in the morning as well. It’s a great place to stay if you need to in this area. Only thing to note is I didn’t notice an elevator there’s only two stories so not a big deal but if you had a lot of luggage or have mobility issues you may want to call and see if they have one beforehand.
The room was clean and comfy. The customer service was Exceptional! This is a cute hotel not far from Koreatown which is an awesome experience for great dining and shopping by the way. Staying here I felt the heartbeat of LA. I felt safe walking around the neighborhood and the parking was free. It gave us the LA experience that you often don't get with other hotels. Breakfast was a nice touch. I will definitely stay here again and look forward to my next trip to Los Angeles.
Stayed here last Wednesday for a business related trip. In terms of location it’s near some food places and lots of shops. The room itself was alright. The beds and bathroom are good. However the door and handle were very inexpensive, like someone could lightly kick the door and it would come down. 95% of breakfast was packaged in plastic and limited drink selection. The only hot food they had was oatmeal. In terms of customer service they were very friendly, and helpful when asking for directions. Pricing was honestly fair considering it’s LA, overall rating 3.5 stars for me
Excellent value, pleasant hotel and pleasant surroundings. This is a basic, no-frills hotel, but room is comfortable, clean and big, and the staff friendly and accommodating. Location is excellent. Breakfast not fancy, but has the basics: coffee, tea, juice, cereal, yogurt and a few other things. We didn't even rent a car and were able to walk to most places. I highly recommend it, and would stay here again.
My son and I stayed for 6 nights in this friendly, clean, and conveniently located boutique hotel. Every day we were greeted by name and also met many people from all over the world over the free continental breakfast/Keurig coffee served every day. Our room had the most comfortable linens and mattresses. The shower and toiletries are amazing. We love that there was a mini fridge and coffee maker in our room as well. We actually want to stay longer! The neighborhood is lovely and within walking distance of LACMA, La Brea Tar Pits, Peterson Automotive Museum, Academy of Motion Pictures Museum, The Contemporary Craft museum, and outstanding food everywhere but especially at the corner one block away at Wilshire at Uovo. Not too far away also is the Historical Farmers Market. We have already recommended this hotel to our Family and a friend who lives locally in this neighborhood who may have family visiting soon. We will be back again soon for sure. Thank you ????
My children and I stayed at Wilshire Crest Hotel during Labor Day weekend. The room was very big, the 2 queen beds were super comfy. However, the room was so dirty, the floor was super dirty, no-one cleaned the room at all, coffee pot was so nasty, very dusty. It was a hard wood floor room, no carpet. No ice bucket in the room at all. The room floor, bathroom was so dirty, yucky that we had to wear shoes, crocs in the room and out of shower, etc. We also found couple of flies and mosquitos in the room. Street parking only, it can be a pain, busy street so be prepared. The staff at front desk was very nice. The complimentary breakfast only serve with cold breakfast (muffin, yogurt, etc) no hot breakfast like eggs, waffles, etc. I still definitely will] come back due to its good location, good price and great customer service. But hopefully the room floor will be more clean next time, cleaner room with no flies, no mosquitos and come with ice bucket in the room.
Great service, clean rooms, convenient location, and breakfast. The staff was very kind and helpful. We were also given a parking pass for the street. Breakfast was simple: muffins, oatmeal, yogurt, etc and it was located very close to some museums and other sites. Overall great experience
Stolen catalytic converter at the spot where we were told to park. Out of state visitors be warned. I would just pay for parking in a safe place and walk to the hotel. We know that in the heart of a big city parking is a struggle but how defeated we felt that we had so much trouble finding a spot to then find our car vandalized...
The room was very nice and clean, the remote to the TV didn't work but it was too late to get anyone involved. The breakfast is disappointing. But for the price and location the room was so nice, large and pretty and... No carpet! Which is always a + in my book!
