Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience at Willy's. This was a Saturday afternoon, and the restaurant was mostly empty other than another 2 tables or so. The food did take a little while to come out, but I wasn't that concerned about that. However, once the food came, mine was incorrect. I let our server know and reminded him of my order, and he said he would go have it fixed. I then waited another 20 minutes for my food to come back out - only to still be incorrect. Because I didn't want to wait anymore, I told the server (after he started to argue that it wasn't incorrect) that I would just keep it because we didn't have time to wait for another 20-30 minutes. At this time, I also asked for a refill for my husband's drink and asked for sour cream that I had asked for when I originally ordered my food. After several more minutes, the server returned with the sour cream, but not my husband's drink (tea). He had forgotten it. I finally got to taste my food (25ish minutes after my husband got his - we didn't want it to get cold, so I encouraged him to go ahead and eat), and the meat (which was what was wrong with it in the first please - I didn't order meat in this particular meal) tasted so dry and burnt that it was inedible. My husband also had beef in his food, and it tasted very different from mine. The server was very clearly hiding after he had brought my food out incorrectly a second time, so I didn't get a chance to express my distaste until the food was completely cold. We asked that mine be taken off of the check, and we paid and left. The server continued to hide even after this, never apologizing or trying to do anything at all to rectify the situation. And bizarrely, we had to wait several minutes because the manager of the restaurant was "down the street" and wouldn't be there to correct our ticket for a bit. On the whole, I would say that there is a ton of room for improvement at this establishment. With Social Circle being such a small town, Willy's has a real opportunity to shine, but this experience wasn't it.
Had a pick up order today and the young lady at the counter was great, did everything she could to ensure good service after my order never being confirmed. The male server with spiderweb tattoos on his elbows was a pain to deal with. He was rude, didn’t bother to serve a table that was waving him down, was complaining about having to make a drink that is on their menu and told the young lady to tell me they “didn’t have any” so he wouldn’t have to make it. If you don’t want to do your job, stay home.
We are locals so Willy's is a go-to for us. However, we do visit other Mexican-American restaurants on occasion ????.
Willy's different. Their food is fresher, better, and they have their own "spin" on classic M/A dishes. I had the Fajita Taco Salad Chicken and it was phenomenal. Much better than most taco salads! Not "mushy" once you start combining and the flavor is really good!
This has been a long time favorite of ours! Awesome food, huge menu, fast service.
I am so thankful Willy's Mexican Restaurant is in Social Circle. Great place, decent food, friendly service what more could you want. Plus, this place is right here in lovely Social Circle.
The service was terrible. We waited longer than an hour to get our food. And when the food arrived, it was either the wrong order or cold. People who arrived AFTER us received their food BEFORE us. We also had to get our own drinks from the bar and silverware! The ONLY BRIGHT SPOT was our server, LIA. Despite being new (her 3rd day at work), LIA did her best to make us happy. She deserves compensatation special recognition! Also, even knowing the service.was slow, the manager opted NOT to come to our table to address our concerns.

Just stopped in & got a chicken soup to go. Delicious soup ( chicken, vegs., avocado, fresh cilantro). Friendly, efficient service. Located in old downtown Social Circle, inviting outdoor seating & a full bar. Beer prices are too high.
