I had the most incredible, professional, kind, and efficient care at Will Eye thanks to Dr. Lloyd. From the beginning she made me feel so comfortable in her office and was very clear about goals of care and her recommendations. I was impressed by how quickly I could get scheduled with her and have my surgery performed. Prior to this, my eye condition meant I couldn't drive, read, watch movies, or a variety of other tasks that were affecting my day to day life. Dr. Lloyd didn't just fix my eyes - she gave me my quality of life back. I really could not be more grateful to her, and Wills Eye, for their exceptional care. Thank you Dr. Lloyd!
Would love to leave a positive review but have been waiting for over an hour after checking in. No free parking they give you a 15% discount. 11 other people in the lobby also waiting. Very unprofessional. I will update if we get the procedure done at all today. Thought this was suppose to be one of the best hospitals for eyes. So far very unimpressed.
Doctors in the glaucoma department are super and caring. New system for calls is not either of those. I have been a patient since 2004. Recently, on the advice of my regular eye doctor, I tried to reach my glaucoma doctor to see what she wanted to do about an increase in eye pressure. Call center "agent" took my message. A fellow called back, left a message, and said I would get another call for a new appointment. I heard nothing. I called 5 days later and left another message. No call back. I waited another 5 days, left another message. Nine days since that, no return call. My regular eye doctor agreed to squeeze me in, did a pressure check, and sent the message to Wills. No word. Similarly, I have been trying since November 12 to get Wills Eye to submit to my prescription plan prior authorization requests for three eye drops for 2025. The prescription plan has yet to hear from Wills. I have to decide which plan to go with in 2025 by December 7. The cost difference could be as much as $5000. Bottom line: for me, the new message center is a disaster.
drove 2 hours, with parking search to be told they left a voicemail cancelling my appointment. Call history shows no call. “its an 800 number your phone might have blocked it”. Then you didn’t leave a message. “In our system we did” Although I confirmed by text. “Oh the system just sends that”. From a snotty, dismissive receptionist.
Exact same exchange with the elderly infirm man who came after me. He begged them not to make him come back.
Last time my apptmt was with a doctor who no longer worked there.
I asked the sub dr if weightlifting contributed to my torn retina. He recommended giving up weightlifting. Luckily , I asked if there was research. He said, no but you’re older and you should probably not be weightlifting. I’m 63. All evidence suggests the exact opposite.
Maybe there was a time this was a great place. It’s not now.
I want to thank all staff members including the security guard ladies that helped us out. My boyfriend and I Cesar H went there on 8/24/24 and I must say it was a complete blessing. Thank God I decided not to listen to the reviews. He was losing his vision and turns out the situation was severe. Thank you to all the amazing doctors. Thank you Vinny for walking him out with such care. To the lady who called us to come back for blood work thank you for making so many attempts to reach us so we wouldn't mess up our chances of having surgery Monday. May you all be blissed and protected by the most high.
My father and I have been waiting for over 10 hours to be seen and treated. This is atrocious no person should have to wait that long. When you ask how much longer they have no answer. How can you possibly run an ER ike this. I would not recommend or if you absolutely have to call first see how many people are ahead of you

Despite the fact they were having what was very clearly a stressful day at work, they really kept their customer service game strong and did their best to help us with a major task. ❤️ The task included cleaning up after another department’s mistake, and ensuring the surgery we scheduled happened that SAME DAY WE SCHEDULED FOR.
The surgery was for a different dept, and instead of looking in the system, that dept pushed our problem and us, onto the cornea dept. Interesting how cornea dept could see the appt we scheduled just fine, but that dept couldn’t see it tho?
Regardless, Bree and Mike went above and beyond to make sure the paperwork and scheduling was revised since the initial misdirection set us back with the time the surgery should have been.
We’re so grateful, and we just want to give extra special thanks to Mike and Bree, because without them we would have lost another day of unpaid work (as my fiancé’s issue had been going on for quite some time, which ate up his minimal PTO at a new job) due to previous doctors throwing eye drops at him instead of doing a proper exam. With all that tension and anger at previous doctors, plus the scheduling issues, Bree and Mike’s hardwork and genuine care with helping us was a saving grace. ❤️❤️❤️ Hopefully not every day at work is aa busy as that lol, and Bree whatever you were dealing with behind the scenes, I hope it gets better. ☺️
The nurses and staff were very nice and friendly. My mom had two cataracts removed one was pretty deep. I sincerely thank everyone who helped my mom to gain her sight back was very difficult road and this hospital does amazing things!!! Thank you I appreciate it!!!
