Best WLM Reviews
I enjoyed this place. It is definitely one that has a locals vibe. I came in late, just looking to have a couple of drinks. Ended up with some apps, drinks, dessert, and some great conversation. The bartender was extremely friendly and on top of things. My favorite thing to try is the Expresso Martini. This location offers a pecan Martini for the holidays, as well as traditional. I did have the Expresso Martini in which had more of a sweet dessert vibe. It was good, I personally prefer more of a robust coffee tasting Martini. We tried some wings while there. They were nice and crispy, tossed in a flavorful Buffalo sauce. All in all, this is a cool spot out in the Willoughby area, I'll definitely be back to check out the menu more in depth!
Willoughby has been fantastic every time I’ve been in. Fast, friendly and efficient servers, food is always great and there are pool tables and music available. Come on down and have a fun time!
Great local seafood and a fun start to our family vacation- staff were fun and friendly. Ms. Mary in the kitchen was rockin’ and rollin’ the home cooked deliciousness for all of us! We enjoyed our server Annie so much we even added her to our family photo!
Staff where friendly and knowledgeable about local history. Food was outstanding. Comfortable, homey atmosphere. Don't miss it
This place was exactly what we wanted - a local spot with good seafood. Their “steamed” shrimp are delicious and not steamed at all and they were huge! We got 2 dozen oysters steamed then I had the crab cake sandwich and my wife had a flounder sandwich. They seemed short staffed so service was slow, but the bartender took great care of us. Drinks were great and we enjoyed the deck.
Small, older establishment with great food, friendly service and environment. My shrimp with garlic flavored buffalo sauce were phenomenal...fresh, seasoned just right and perfect texture. Ms. Mary thank you! Sat at the bar and the bartender, Ann was very attentive and helpful. Next time, don't get stuck in that tunnel traffic, get stuck at Willoughby By The Bay! Located just off the last exit leaving Norfolk headed towards the HRBT. A hidden gem.
We’ve lived in OV for years and somehow (late to the game) just discovered this place. When I tell you the seafood is ON. POINT. I mean it. If you want a comfy local spot with friendly people (staff included) and well seasoned, delicious food - this is the place.
Always heard great things, decided to give it a try. Absolutely worth it! The food was great, and I’m not a huge fish person! The staff was extremely knowledgeable of the menu, and was able to answer my questions with confidence and overall helped me pick the perfect dish. Our drinks were cold, served quickly, and mixed to perfection. The best part of the experience was the attitude of the bar staff! Great conversations, tons of laughs, and overall a fantastic time; major shoutout to Bobbie! She’s the reason we will definitely be coming back!
