Willie's is my #1 spot to eat when I'm in Brunswick. The hot dogs are phenomenal, the burgers are a MUST, and the atmosphere is one of a kind. If you're looking for a quick bite and also a local staple, then you've gotta come to Willie's. My go-to's are the Willie Burger, the Reuben, and the Slaw dog. And add some bacon while you're at it!
This restaurant is so special. It’s like stepping back in time and it bubbles over with southern hospitality. I stopped here when traveling through the area about four years ago and I’ve been looking forward to the opportunity to stop here again. Today I had their pork chop sandwich with fries and sweet tea and I must say that it was every bit as good as what I had remembered. The staff is so hospitable and they greet you with a smile. I strongly recommend that you give Willie’s a try and I can say that I’m quite sure you are going to be very pleased. I know that the next time I’m driving through the area I will be stopping here again.
We haven't been for a year ( the restraunt score was 88). But new ownership got us here today. The Restraunt score is a 97. The place is clean, and the employees are friendly. We got the steak and pork chop sandwich (we each had half) with fries and sweet tea. Everything was great. Will definitely go back. They do not do military discount.
Loved it! Delicious greasy fast food. Hits the spot. Excellent burger. Superb service. Great prices for the portions. I'd come here anytime I'm in the area.
I'm very picky about hot dogs, first time here and I got the kiddie dog and the slaw dog. Slaw dog was so good! My boyfriend got BBQ dog, chilling cheese dog, and the Willie dog. He loved them all! He thought they mixed up his order since he didn't know which was which. Staff was so sweet when he asked. I feel like it would be helpful for people first time if they start labeling which dog is which. Definitely coming again
You can tell this place is family-based as soon as you walk in. I'm always greeted with a warm smile and eye contact and their food is always good! Their fried fish sandwich is a fillet-o-fish from McDonald's 2.0! Highly recommend!
This is a classic style outside tables order at a screen window type of place. Lots of variety for toppings for hotdogs and burgers. A few toppings options for fries. Drinks are bottled except for the tea. Make sure to check the actual menu by the window since the wall menu has several things missing. I'm not a hot dog person and still enjoyed them. Service was a bit haphazard and slow but we got there right at the start of lunch rush. Once going, the line flowed smoothly. Definitely worth a 30 minute side trip if you're in the area. Big thing to remember is that you get 2 dogs for each dog you order. Order 3 chili cheese dogs and you're gonna get 6 buns loaded up.
Went here on a whim on a trip to Brunswick for a late night meal. We got there close to 9pm and the energy of the people surrounding this place was very warm and friendly. The girl taking our order was so sweet and found amusement in us ordering two chili dogs add slaw and two slaw dogs add chili. (There is a difference!) While we waited for our food which maybe took 10 minutes max they offered us free sweet tea which was so kind. They gave us peppers and ketchup too and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. The hot dogs and french fries were great and just what we needed! Will definitely come back if we find ourselves in Brunswick again.
