Best WLM Reviews

I have been to Willie's twice now, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times I have found the restaurant to be clean and neat. The restrooms were always clean for me to comfortably use. Both times the staff have been very kind and friendly, and have always kept a good eye on us and made sure we didn't need anything! I really enjoy the seating and layout. You can eat inside or outside, at the bar, at tables, booths, just about every seating situation is available! The food is always pretty good, I love the onion rings and fried pickles. I also enjoy the amount of parking and seating, even on a Saturday night we had no problem with either! If you're in the area and looking for a nice family style restaurant, definitely give Willie's a try!
Had the seafood platter, It was all good, but the shrimp was some of the best that i've had in a long time....she had a burger with bacon. Onion rings were really good. They had the little black pepper in the crust. Which I love, she said it was great coleslaw. She doesn't like a vinegary taste and that was perfect because it didn't have one. The street corn was really good. It was all good. Jessica was super, sweet, and attentive, and they have a great rewards program. All about rewards and points...enjoy
Interesting that you order at the front and then go sit down. Food was all really good. Love their hand breaded chicken and onion rings. I got the chicken club sandwich and I need an extra kick of pickled jalapenos but other than that it was delicious.
Just go, you will enjoy it.
Front entrance to order before you can be seated can be a bit intimidating but just order basic stuff up front and the waiter can take your order for additional stuff.
Serving size on the appetizers were quite large.
Frozen drinks very delicious.
Staff was very friendly.
Floor under tables were not as clean as they could be. The tables were wiped off but all a small portion of it is dumped on the ground and never cleaned up which you end up stepping on when searing yourself at the table.
I recently dined at here and had the pleasure of being served by an outstanding waitress named Megan. From the moment we were seated, her warm smile and genuine enthusiasm set the tone for a fantastic evening.
Megan was incredibly attentive without being intrusive. She took the time to understand our preferences and made excellent menu recommendations that perfectly matched our tastes. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she provided thoughtful insights about the dishes, ensuring we felt confident in our choices.
The appetizers are quite large and delicious! The restaurant has an inviting atmosphere and overall great service.
So as you walk in the front person was nice
We got fried pickles,my gosh very salty!!
Not even the ranch could help.
I got the smash tacos. It's a burger in a taco,
My honest opinion it had no flavor, the tortilla of the taco was half greasy and only the edges had been crispy, they have thousands Island on top, odd choice so I didn't get that I requested queso, it made it taste better, however the queso was watery and still wasn't enough for the lack of flavor the taco lacked.
The fries tasted good, my sweet tea was not bad also not good, it's was just okay.
My spouse got crispy chicken sandwich,
He said it was very greasy and he felt that the chicken was not cooked all the way. Fries tasted good. His drink was a beer.
So as we paid and decided to finish drinking on the patio, or so we thought we could
They have a few tall tables and we sat on one, we I only took two seats, well the young waiter guy was very nice he said whatever we need let him know..... NOW so a few minutes later a young girl came up and asked if we need anything and I said I'm still looking at the drink menu, she said okay and walks away. Then when I saw the very small menu of cocktails I didn't see anything I would like. Well I was thinking a beer then, so about 3 minutes later that same girl came however this time she was more forceful and rude, she made it feel like we couldn't hang out there, I didn't know because the bar was part of it.
So after all that we will be not going back to this location,
the only reason we went was the location in San Antonio was wonderful, food was delicious and
Everyone was super nice.
We are very disappointed.
My recent outing at Willie's Grill and Icehouse was a mixed bag of experiences. While the service was adequate and the margaritas pleasantly strong, the food left much to be desired.Unfortunately, the main highlight—the food—fell flat. The fish was disappointingly thin, lacking both in substance and flavor. It was a letdown, to say the least. On the upside, the service was commendable; staff were attentive and accommodating. And speaking of highlights, the margaritas were a saving grace—strong and enjoyable. In conclusion, while the service and drinks showed promise, the lackluster food quality, particularly the fish, overshadowed the overall dining experience. Hopefully, improvements in the culinary department can elevate Willie's Grill and Icehouse to match its potential.
Chicken strips were awesome. We eat here often and chicken fried steak has been not so tender at times. Hubbie likes the catfish and shrimp. Tacos were amazing and grilled shrimp is good. Our server Maegan was on top of her game. LOL left a review for a discount. Hubbie wouldn’t do one - we are a table of 9 and they walked around the table making sure everyone left a review. So no review, no discount.
