As a first time visitor from Florida stumbled upon this restaurant exploring San Antonio. I had wings and my husband had country fried steak. The country fried chicken was huge portion, I guess that’s what they meant “everything is bigger in Texas!”. My wings were cooked nicely and flavored well. The atmosphere was great esp if you’re one that loves to watch sports while eating out. I do love a great food spot that I can also catch my college football at. The employees were friendly I would definitely eat here again! Highly recommended!

Chicken fried steak taste was horrible. Tortilla soup was the worst my wife has ever had. Service slow.
Ordered delivery, which came very quickly. It was pretty good until I realized the chicken on my salad was raw. Whoops and ewww. I had to toss it. My sisters bun on her chicken sandwich was so greasy it deteriorated, which may have been from being delivered…but that doesn’t explain the raw chicken.
Andrea was our waitress today at the 1604/NW Military location and she was great! She was attentive, polite, and quick! We love coming to this location and can always rely on the consistency of this location’s service and wait staff. Even the man who took our order remembered us! Plus, their tortilla soup is back and is as soul-soothing as I remember! ????
Clean and quick! Someone always at register to take order, servers are usually fast and friendly with repeated visits to check on the table and get refills. Only been a couple of times out of last 10 that one of our 6 orders was overlooked. Our Bible study likes meeting there.
Great food! One of the few places that offers a Crawfish Po’ Boy. They now offer tater tots, which was a welcomed surprise. They have also added a bar to the restaurant, since I was last there. The bar adds another dimension to the atmosphere that gives one a welcoming experience. If you have the time, come check them out. They will not let you down!!!
i couldn’t remember the name of the drink i was asking for, but Ari knew about my green tea shot and it was perfect. that’s all i remember from my nights of her serving me but if you ever need someone who knows everything on the menu & more, it’s her! thank you Ari!!!
