My meal was very good. However, there were a couple of things that cost a star. First, my Mac and cheese was cold. Second, the warm peach cobbler was a microwave job (with surface of the sun hot spots and cold spots). Third, my chicken fingers were heavily breaded. Personally, I like a thinner coating… but that is my taste.
Overall, the meal was good and I will come back. I just might change my order (they have tons of BBQ items).
Went yesterday and ordered My meal , then left to get on highway when I realized that I was given the wrong meal. When I returned, the 2 Gentleman that were working had already realized the mix up and started to prepare Me an entire Fresh hot meal when I walked in. They offered Me a free Coke as I waited as well. You don’t find much Good Customer Service these days so it was very refreshing. Those are the two type of Young Men you would want to work at your Establishment. I Hope those 2 are being recognized for their hard work, Respect and being paid accordingly lol!
I ordered St Louis ribs and pulled pork dinner to take home. The ribs I had to throw out. They were burnt and discussing. The pull pork portion was kid size. Very disappointed for a $20 meal. Guess if you get it to-go no sees it until it is too late to complain. I used to come here a lot before it started going downhill.
We had Willie’s catered for a joint 1st & 30th birthday for my daughter and husband. The food was phenomenal and everyone was commenting on it all day! Service was great, they showed up right at the time we said and they took care of everything with set-up. Renee was awesome, she helped me out a few times and answered all of my questions. Give her a raise, she deserves it :)

First and foremost the gentleman behind the counter knows what he's doing. So polite. So helpful. I am a very slow reader when it comes to big sign menus. He was so patient and helpful. I usually feel so rushed and anxious at ordering in this sort of place where you order up front and then go sit down. He was very kind and attentive even after we got our food to make sure everything was good and that we knew where the sauces were. Answered a question about a mustard allergy very knowledgeably. Rockstar.
The food was so good. Had the coleslaw, sweet potato fries, pulled pork, and chicken. The chicken has a little kick to it, but not really "spicy" so I really liked it. It was juicy and fell off the bone. The pulled pork isn't really seasoned at all so you can apply your own sauce. Very good as well.
I HAVE to recommend the sweet potato fries. Best ones I've had. Very good slaw as well, flavorful and not super wet like some places do.
My only complaint is the music is a little bit loud for me, but I'm sure some people like it that way and it didn't stop us from having a good time.
This was the first time here. Not sure if they were having an off day but the ribs were really dry. I got french fries and that was the best part of the meal. Also got the fried corn which was fantastic. There was something else don't remember the name but I remember it was awful. I will try it again just to see if maybe it was just a bad day. The service was fantastic.
Aug. 27, 2021 Update: we ordered to go again. I think they need to train the part time cook how to properly slice beef brisket. Cut against the grain, not along the grain leaving super long muscle fiber. ???? Also, make them thick slices is fine, but not random chunks.
We ordered 2 lbs of briskets to go. They have nice smoke ring and very moist. The soft parts pretty much melt in my mouth.
We also tried the 4 kinds of BBQ sauce. I like the vinager based. Taste very much like the ones from the Carolinas.
Delicious Old School BBQ!!! I've been wanting to try this place for a long time. It didn't disappoint! Friendly and quick service. The quality and amount of food is absolutely worth every cent!! Wear comfy clothes, because your belly is going to be full and happy after eating here!!
