Best WLM Reviews
Soooo it breaks my heart to write this review but here it goes. The food was on point. Seasoned to perfection however, it took forever for our food to come. We brought 6 of our friends with us as this is our second visit. This visit was totally unacceptable.. we arrived at noon, food came out at 1, they were out of pork chops, which is fine but why did it take an hour for our waitress to tell us that. In her defense, it was her second day on the job and she should have been shadowing instead of working a table of 8.
Willie B's is LIT honey!! We arrived after 11 PM and it was a straight party. The music was bumping and everyone seemed to be having a good time. The hostess and our waitress was nice. The food was delicious. My husband got the jerk shrimp and I got the catfish sliders which was actually one big catfish sandwich. Both of our dishes were delicious. The frozen drinks were delicious too. 20% gratuity is automatic added to the bill. Didn't bother me cause the service was great!
This is a lounge/ club not a restaurant so don’t expect much service. I think they should have open seating and walk up ordering to the bar cause the waitresses are pointless. We sat at the bar and still got terrible service. Our bartender was on her phone the whole time. The music is so loud we had to scream for her to hear us. We got the beltline ($16) and a double shot Hennessy which was an INSANE $30. Never again!!!! My fiancé got the wings and fries ($19) and I got the streetcar pasta with chicken ($22). He said he liked his food, mine was terrible. My toast was burnt and why is there celery and onion pieces in pasta, GROSS! If you want to come out and buy expensive drinks, get bad service cause the servers automatically get 20% so they don’t care about service, and possibly get your windows busted out then this is the place for you…. As for me and my house, we WILL NOT be back.
I gave 2 stars cause we parked close and our windows were still intact when we came back and the dj did a great job. It was definitely not an experience worth $123!!!!
Had a large party of 10+ that they did their beat to accommodate. Sat us and were flexible even with another party schedule. Appreciate them for fitting our party in upon walking in. Food came out hot and was delicious. Good flavors. Menu has tons of options. Drinks and hookah are also good. Large booths seat 6 comfortably. DJ on Saturday during brunch was in point. Server named Treasure was attentive and took good care of us. Will return to try chicken and waffles. Ordered catfish and grits. Very satisfied.
I ordered the grilled shrimp and grits with a side of lamb chops. The food was DELICIOUS!! It was the perfect sized portion for me. I almost scraped the plate. My drink was the Big strawberry lemon drop and I could barely finish it, it was on point and very good! The vibes are on 10. The DJ played all the hits to get you dancing in your seat. I was fighting not to make my own dance floor to cut up on.
I wanted to give them 5 stars so bad but overall a must try. My bestie and I came from out of town and looked up oysters and this place popped up. When we arrived it was not what we expected and at one point was going to leave. So glad we stayed and gave them a try. They play good trap music with good food and amazing drink. A little pricey but worth it. The reason I took a star off is because we were seated in a decent time but it took awhile for a waitress to greet us and to place our orders. When I asked the host if someone was going to take out our she stated it was shift change and someone would be with us, so I understood that, secondly when the chargrilled oysters came out they were pale, cold, and a little undercooked. I sent them back and asked them to be cooked a little more and they came back really good.
This is a must visit brunch spot. Full disclaimer the neighborhood was a little sketchy but it’s like a hidden gem. Service was nice the food was good my lamb chops were a little salty but other than that it was good . I def enjoyed the drinks also they were a hit. It’s a nice spot if you are celebrating something and want to turn up and eat good . We also heard it was a good night spot but when we noticed a few cars with their windows busted out we were like nope nevermind lol .. however again brunch was everything try it out
What a gem this place is. The food was simply amazing. The best wings ever. My husband and I came to visit from Miami and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was energetic and lively. They have different genres every night. We tried the street car pasta, the chicken and waffles, the st. Chartres chops. My favorite drink was the prohibition hiccup. Whenever in Nashville Willie B’s is the place to be.
