What a beautiful and peaceful campground! Most of the sites have plenty of room - no sardine feeling here. The campground is exceptionally well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The wi-fi was a little sketchy but not a deterrent. We had a wonderful anniversary week! Would definitely recommend for couples or families, and pets are welcome.
Outstanding week spent at Williamsburg Campground. The service and support from the Williamsburg Campground Staff was superb. Early arrival- no problem. Quick and easy drop off to campsite E06. Site had paver patio pad, fire ring, propane gas grill, picnic table with 4 chairs, double swing chair, 50A/30A service, water and sewer, TV Cable and Wifi Internet (Good strength). My 42 footer Fifth Wheel fit nicely.
The staff was nice and the atmosphere was very nice . The RV sites looked spacious , the facilities were clean .|However, we rented a deluxe cabin, that cost almost $1000.00 , for that price we still had to bring all our own sheets , pillows and blankets for all the bunk beds . There were stains on the couch and the mattress pad . There was rust in the sink . |The cabins have no stove or toaster. And there is a table inside , but only 2 chairs . |Overall it was very overpriced , maybe if you have an RV it’s better , but we expected more for the price and the reviews we read on trip advisor
The friendliest staff (thanks Lori!!), the cleanest campgrounds with the best of both worlds with amenities and nature activities. We really loved bringing our sons age 5 and 7, and they especially loved the costume parade and trick-or-treating around the different campsites. 10/10 would recommend bringing your family here or enjoying a couples getaway!
We were scheduled for a tent site on Friday when the remnants of Helene were coming through. When we got there to check in they had upgraded us to a cabin for the night! Saturday was supposed to be lovely, so we set our tent up and enjoyed the rest of the weekend camping. We were so thankful we didn't have to fight the rain and wind Friday night in a tent!! Very thoughtful of them!
We have been camping here for years and we are never disappointed. The pool is large and well maintained. The kids look forward to the activities and the proximity to Busch Gardens. The staff have always been extremely friendly and helpful, and it is always nice to see their familiar faces. The bathrooms and grounds are impeccably clean. Other campers have always been respectful of quiet hours as well. This family owned campground is exactly what we needed this weekend!
We visited with friends in October. We were impressed with how clean the campground was, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We loved that we could have firewood delivered to our site. There were many planned activities for the family to enjoy. We will stay again.
Great clean camp ground with a lot of amenities, clean buildings, nice playgrounds and bounce pads. Had great weekend activities. The spots are nice and spaced out. All hookups were safe and organized. Clean bath houses. Centrally located to York River Park and Williamsburg. The staff was very accommodating. We will be back!
