Best WLM Reviews
Terrible! I don't understand all these positive reviews. This place is directly behind a truck stop. Multiple diesel trucks running their engines all day/night, not a moments peace. Our rig vibrated constantly it was horrible. And to put salt in the wound ridiculously priced. We paid $73 to be tortured all night!
OMG, we tried to book online, couldn't so we called. Online price $60 something, when you called $80 something. We arrive and they put us by they're pond... what a joke. Asked why we can't be put in the back where it's quieter and I'm told those are long term. Asked why they have camping in their parking lot.. that's our short term. Wouldn't recommend this place. We love to camp but not here. Read the reviews...long term residents sure are complaining. Wish we would have read them before we arrived, sounds like new ownership is all about the $$$
This USED to be a pretty good area to go to. But now you have to pay just to see family members?!? Like come on now, it SHOULD be free. No offense, but when people find out you have to pay an x amount just to see family/friends even for a couple of hours y’all are going to lose business. The pool is always absolutely disgusting, barely ever is clean. You have people flying down the roads and the office doesn’t do anything about it. Sorry, but this is a 0 star. I would not recommend any of my family/friends to stay here.
Oh and also, the office talks about their TENANTS (in a bad way). Y’all are just rude people and at this point just trying to make money. ????????♀️
We stayed here for several months while we figured out things. It’s a very dog friendly park as it has a small fenced in area for dogs. I do wish it was bigger so my dog could run more freely. It has a nice heated pool and a clean laundry room. Great services offered, daily trash pickup and will pickup/fill propane tanks and deliver. Very convenient. The only thing I wish was that it wasn’t so much road noise but other than that it was a nice, safe place to stay. Its convenient location is close to so many wonderful places to visit that are just a short drive away. Oh and I loved all the wildlife that I got to see! Would definitely stay here again if I was in the area. Thanks for a great stay!
I've been here for almost 3 years it was nice when I got here has gone downhill grass is always high. Very expensive with very little amenities. Wifi is hit or miss. Trash is only picked up, and only for a few hours in the morning Monday through Friday Very little security. Dog park is maintained poorly tall grass and not very big. There use to be a little store in the office and is no longer there. Pool closes before posted times Rules are always changing. And electricity bills are higher then most parks in this area. Management is not very friendly with poor customer service. Also has been a lot of theft in the park, I do not recommend Wildwood RV village, not with all the other RV parks in this area with great service, and amenities.
First off this is not a Resort! They have 1 bathouse in the middle of campground that has no air conditioning. Secondly it's my understanding the pool is not up to code per other reviews on Google. The dog park is not a park it is a small fenced in area where there's one tree limb and high grass and weeds. The mgnt staff they have now since Jennufer ihas moved up to district mgr are rude, disrespectful and lack any people skills. They send out demanding emails all the time. They closed off and entrance and exit ti the park and now the kids have to crawl under it to catch their bus. Pitiful!!! Grounds are terrible. If you Luke alit if police presence then this is your place. Very unprofessional run.
Reserved a site for the 2024-25 season in March 2024 while staying at another campground. We toured this park. Got to pick our site. Campground was pretty full. Fast forward to October 2nd. New ownership and management. New rules. No permanent structures. We couldn't put up our panel fence for our dogs and our Gazebo to sit outside and stay cool. They also don't allow open fires nor golf carts I'm all for following the rules but, there are sites that have sheds, permanent fence, and Golf carts. I spoke to the manager and he said they will be reviewing guests who were there when New ownership took over and most likely all the permanent stuff would come down. This will not happen. He's spineless and just flat out won't enforce the rules equally for everyone. This is not an RV Park. It's a park with an HOA. We were going to stay the whole season but left on Oct 29th. The owners are not even on-site running it. They're headquartered in Tennessee. I think they just bought it and pawned it off on the management and said you all make the rules. Like I said earlier, this place was packed when we toured in March. There's hardly anyone staying here now. They want to clean the park up. It's getting cleaned up alright just not the way they hoped. DO NOT stay here. This place doesn't allow camping which sitting in the shade and enjoying marshmallows and cooking over an open fire entail.
Don't waster your time coming here ..WHAT A DUMP!!! Now I know why this place went bankruped 3 times, Staff Rude, Bathrooms Very Dirty . Very Dirty campground , Internet doesn't work , campers don't pick up after ther dogs.Laundry mat very Dirty ..BEWARE when you store your camper here ...IF they decided they want to clean the yard up they will have your camper towed out of the storage area without contacting the owner , They STOLE my $6000 camper ! I paid $100 a month storage fee for 2 years who knows where that money went ..Area has nothing to offer its right next to a truck stop you here trucks backing up all night ..24/7 ..Loud !! beep ,,beep ,,beep I hope this review helped have a nice day campers !!! I will never do business with this campground again !!!
