Me and my wife stayed here for a little romantic vacation. We’ve been together 23 years. We’ve been to a lot of motels and hotels and campgrounds over the years. I must say this place was very nice very clean. Everything was updated. Hardwood floor king size bed super comfortable four pillows on the bed really nice updated bathroom and a great shower, big and spacious sliding glass doors Ice cold air The only thing the room was missing was a little table, but that’s OK we made do we brought home takeout from boathouse seafood we made it work. What a great time we definitely will be returning. Thank you again. We were , very happy with our stay there everything was perfect. They also had a swimming pool there Super clean The price was awesome for being so close to the beach and boardwalk
Hubby and I just left after a lovely 2 night stay. We were on the top (4th) floor in a very quiet room. That's very important to us. It had a rather large closet with a luggage rack, a cold consistent A/C, and a very comfy king bed. What more could you ask for? The room was clean and without issue. Even had full room service after the 1st night! Didn't expect that. Yes, the building is old. But for us, it added to the charm. Free pool table on 2nd floor, small clean pool, and an excellent location to the Boards and beach. Today, we checked out and asked if we could remain parked there for a few hours. We were given a parking pass until 5 pm! Great staff and service. Would definitely stay again.
First room offered was not cleaned, wet towels on floor, garbage overflowing and a birthday cake in refrigerator. Another room offered. Smaller(same price), no air conditioning, no microwave, windows very dirty. Bathroom clean as was bed . No elevator, so 4 floors of stairs. "Community" microwave very small on second floor next to ice machine. Television would not change channel via remote or manually. Given a different remote but still didn't work. Two nights same channel. Would not return or recommend!
This place is disgusting!!! Our bathroom was full of mold. The bed sheets had tons of stains on it. The floors were so disgusting, covered in dirt, grime, and who knows what else. The closet in the one room smelled like someone had been smoking nonstop for years. Add to that the fact that the locks on our door didn't work. We got locked out twice. And had random people come into our suite by going through a conjoined door that was supposedly locked. I will never stay here again. The proximity to the beach is not worth it!
Positive: Receptionist and location. Negative: 1. Bathroom window I had to place a towel for privacy. 2. Bed had no mattress pad or fitted sheet. I ended up sleeping on the mattress noticing in the a.m. Blanket had knotted black hair. Yuck!3. No reply re left phone charger in #315 room.
Staff tried to Charge me $20 for parking even though my booking reservation said I have free parking included. Not sure if that's a common practice they do there with other guests but all I can say is that please check your booking reservation properly. Had to show them proof that I had free parking included in my booking. Other than that everything was good. Room was nice and clean. Shower as well was clean.
I really wish I could‘ve left a stellar review, but while Kiran at the front desk with the great haircut was very welcoming and nice, as well as the lady at the desk at times with him, our room was not good, at all! The ceiling had what appeared to be mold spots, the door and bathroom walls were dirty and in some parts showing the unpolished work that was done to “update” it. The bathroom sink was missing a part and every time we turned on the faucet the water sprayed out wetting the sink, floor and our clothes. Since we were just there for a few days and spent a majority of the days outside of the room, we didn’t report it or ask for a room change. We did have to report the ant problem as they were crawling on the bed sheets and any items (phones, glasses, books) left on the nightstand. I will say that when we reported the ant problem Kiran and the lady tried to change our room immediately, but since I didn’t wish to be separated from my daughters, we opted to have the room vacuumed, which they attended to immediately. Wish I could say that took care of the ants, but regrettably they returned. Apparently whoever occupied the room prior left food that housekeeping didn’t take care of and that the vacuum missed. While we absolutely value great customer service, we also value feeling comfortable and enjoying our lodging on vacation, so we will not be returning to the Travelodge Wildwood Inn.
I stayed here or a family vacation, we booked two rooms, one smelled like bleach when we first walked in and the tv did NOT work, the other room was dirty there was used product left in there, the sink area was way to small to fit in to wash your hands, the room was also way to small for 4 people and the beds are small in both rooms, the hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. The pool was dirty and had bugs in it, and i dont think that there was even chlorine in the pool. Some good things are that the staff were nice, they can handle kids, especially if your kid ask alot of questions. Its not a far walk to the board walk.
