We love this place - 3rd time visiting. If you’re taking a drive up north and are around the area I recommend to stop. Driving through the park and seen so many animals up close was breathtaking. We also seen 3 red pandas.
We loved this place and the wonderful visit. My wife's been trying to get me to go here for so many years and we finally did, haha. Camel rides. Up close with some tigers. Watching bears bathe. Pretty cool.
We love this place—it makes us feel like we're in Africa! All the animals are amazing. We saw so many different kinds of animals, and they were so close! The price is great for all the things you get to see and experience. It's a great place to go with family!
Wildlife Safari is such a fun place! You get to drive through and see all kinds of animals such as
Cheetah
Elephant
Giraffe
Camel
Rhinos
Emu
Hippos
Some even come up to your car to feed them! It's a pretty long drive and depending on the time, you can get stuck in a long line of cars.
Back at the entrance, they have a gift shop, ice cream you can enjoy in the shade by a playground area and even talk to nice workers taking animals on walks. Kids can feed some animals there as well. Feeding the birds are our favorite! Be sure to bring some dollars for the food.
The Cafe option is spendy, but decent. The outdoor snack hut has a more affordable Hotdog option. They honor military discount throughout.
Overall, it is a fantastic affordable family outing that I highly recommend!
I came here when I was very young. It's been a dream of mine to retrace some of my footsteps. It was better than I could have imagined. Yes, the animals are amazing. I also want to give a tone of credit to the staff every last one of you. We couldn't have felt more comfortable and welcome. Whom ever the manager is great job everyone working seems to love their job. So when my daughter is old enough, she wants a job. ???? ???? ????
We visited the wildlife safari recently. Driving through the park and seeing so many animals up close was incredible.
The park is well-organized, and the drive-through safari allowed us to see the animals in a naturalistic setting. The animals seem well cared for and comfortable in their habitats, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
One of the highlights was the chance to feed deer from our car. We also took the train ride, did a camel ride, and participated in giraffe feeding activity. It was such a unique and interactive experience! Highly recommend visiting if you want to see beautiful animals in a well-managed and caring environment. Can't wait to go back!
The place to go for cheetah lovers! This is one of the best places in the country to visit if you want to meet cheetahs and learn more about them.
The animals are split across two areas: the "village" and the drive-through zoo. The village is like a regular walking zoo with animals in enclosures. It's not as large as a standard zoo, but the exhibits are varied, laid out well, and best of all - it's free to visit! I don't know of any other place in the country where you can see cheetahs for free. Wildlife Safari deserves major kudos for keeping such a high-quality exhibition this accessible.
The drive-through zoo is fantastic. Animals roam freely, providing a unique opportunity to see them in expansive habitats that regular zoos struggle to provide. It's surreal to see ostriches, zebras, and giraffes crossing the same road you're driving on! There are a few downsides to this format; stalls can form quickly if animals draw attention, and it can be hard to see animals depending on their location. If you want to take pictures, you'll want a good telephoto lens. But it's well worth it for the animals to have the space.
Several private animal encounters are available; I highly recommend the Cheetah Stroll, where you accompany one of the cheetahs on their morning walk. In addition to seeing them up close - and the novelty of watching a cheetah being walked like a dog - it's a great chance to learn about them from their keepers. The cheetahs themselves are adorable, not to mention photogenic. One of the most delightful experiences I've had, and I highly recommend it as an outing with family or friends.
Wildlife Safari is one of the best zoos I've visited, with a unique plethora of high-quality experiences. I'm very impressed and I hope to be back someday!
One of the most awesome trips of a lifetime, this Safari takes you thru more than you can imagine. Lions and Tigers and bears plus Emu, Elk, Deer, Gazelle... even Taxes long horn steer. Well worth the cost to see and feed amazing animals.
