We were there for nearly a week. From the room to the shuttle service to the employees to the park itself, everything was great. The room was super clean and well maintained. The employees were informative and pleasant to be around. The shuttle service was a blessing. A quick call got us shuttled anywhere we wanted. We saw a different area each day and were offered something new each time. Definitely returning and recommending.
Coming from Minneapolis is a bit of a trek but it's worth it. Bright my 3 year old son and he had a great time in the wave pool, in some of the little kid pools, the giant jungle gym, the arcade and the especially the crafting/board game room. Didn't give the full 5 Star as you can tell that large parts haven't seen upkeep since the 90s (worn down carpet squares and fading paint, nothing too bad). The rooms were very clean and comfortable for my family. We went during the lower rates before the outdoor pools were opened but for a 3 day weekend there were more than enough activities to do to have little to no down time.
Stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. Surprised that they didn’t clean the room after our first night. Understood when we were here last during Covid. It wasn’t that big of a deal but if that is the case you need to equip the room with enough of the basics. One roll of toilet paper for a family of four? One little bottle of shampoo that fit in the palm of my hand for a family? Also what is the point of the towel cards? Told by the front desk that was old policy but why are we still getting them when we turn in towels? Also wish there was consistency in water temperatures between the indoor water parks. The Klondike park was much colder than the others. My son was shivering with goosebumps there and didn’t want to stay. With the weather outdoors that didn’t leave us with many options.
Love the Wilderness one of our favorite places to be. We come 2 times a year and absolutely love the Wilderness and the improvements. The food is amazing!! The water parks and the Timberland jungle gym is one of the kids favorites. The arcades are so much fun. There is endless fun at the wilderness. Thanks to all the amazing employees who make the stay so much fun and enjoyable you guys are the best and true backbone who make it all happen.
Love the facilities, location was good and transit buses were well run. Huge complaint toward “safety policies”. I get you need to have safety training for staff and you’re responsible for safety of park goers but man it was really an inhibitor to the enjoyment of nearly any attraction. I attended at a time with moderate to low traffic and my gosh the wait times on
Anything managed by staff were prohibitive. It seems like efficiency was no one’s priority.
We split the cost of the cabin between 13 people. The cabin was definitely outdated but nice enough. It took almost 2 full days for the air conditioner to work but otherwise it had everything we needed. It was nice and secluded. The shuttle service itself was amazing but calling for the shuttle was something else, almost like you were wasting their time. It was off season so a few of the slides were closed along with outside. All the slide attendants were fun. Everything always felt clean . The cabin was super close to everything. It was a great experience
The entire experience was absolutely wonderful. Everybody was polite and
e friendly. Always had a smile. I cannot say enough good about how well those Guest Services Employees help the guests and they're very professional about everything, The rooms were clean, very well made up. We will definitely take another vacation here. we will be returning
This is a great Dells experience. Very commercialized of course. I like that the water parks are split up into different zones, and they have more aspects that cater to adults than other places. The swim up bar is so fun and all the indoor/outdoor features are nice. The wave pool is simple yet highly entertaining and the deeper end of the wave pool is uncrowded since most of the patrons are children. We went during shoulder season and lines were not long especially later in the day around dinner time. The slide attendants were very sweet. One major major downside is, you will be weighed publicly for the rides to ensure appropriate weight. For some, your weight is displayed so anyone can see it. For Hurricane you are weighed as a group with the others going in your raft, but in Black hole you are weighed individually. Black hole isn't that fun anyways so you're not missing out. For other slides the weight only displays to the attendant, as far as I can remember. The chlorine level is extreme too so I recommend spending a max of about 4 hrs and then washing off and doing something else the rest of the day. And one final note, unfortunately, the Wyndham sells time shares here. They will stop you in the lobby as you check in and offer you a coupon book and inform you about the pitch. They will even call your room about it. Find any way to decline! Time shares are a scam and it's a shame.
