Best WLM Reviews
Small bar located in the back of a gas station but a great stop to make while on the way to Cedar point for us. Food was delicious and had a lot of different and homemade options available which is always a plus. Really enjoyed the chicken chunks and the homemade tator tots. Would be a great spot to get some food if you're in the marina during the summer. Staff was friendly and parking was abundant on a Thursday night.
Stopped in for breakfast and then dinner same day. This place has amazing food. I can honestly say the breakfast was some of the best I’ve had. Ordered the western bowl! So good! And a spicy Bloody Mary. I didn’t catch our bartenders name but she mentioned her orange truck named Christine- she was great! I was skeptical of a restaurant/gas station situation, but hidden gem for sure! Try it out! Will definitely return!
I'm not sure what happened too the restaurant here in oak harbor but the service is horrible now. Just stood there waited fifteen minutes plus nobody acknowledged me 3 waitresses there for a take out order for a family of four. 50+ dollar order too go food quality also down hill safe too say they just lost a life long customer.
Don't waste your money here, the food was not good. The Lake Erie Walleye dinner was a waste of a good fish. The fillet was deep fat fried with no discernable batter and was over cooked and bony. The baked potatoe was not done and neither was my wife's hamburger, which was ordered well done. The spinach, artichoke dip was a stringy un-eatable glob and the tortilla chips that came with it were anything but tortilla chips.
With nowhere to eat nearby except a nuclear power plant, we decided to give Wild Wings a chance.
It's actually behind a gas station, so drive around back to find it.
Service was pretty good, even though they were quite busy.
Wings were excellent.
Pizza was delicious too.
Recommended.
I never do reviews. However, after stopping at this establishment, Wild Wings Bar and Restaurant in Oak Harbor, Ohio, for years, having great service, great prices, snacks to be purchased at the bar like chips and pretzels, and ecstatic that our favorite bartender was still employed, the establishment has new owners, so thought we would give it a try after many negative rumors. First, I would say the chicken tenders looked like fake meat, all perfectly the same size, flavorless. I will never order those again!! A small glass of wine was the same price i would expect to pay at PIB at $5.50 for a small bottle of Moscato. You don’t even get the bottle, but a small glass to measure the pour, and you pour it into your glass. Beer price is still decent, I guess. The next time we stop in, I’ll be purchasing beer versus wine. Change has come, but don’t expect to leave with any change lol.
What a hidden gem, service is amazing, food is amazing, prices are amazing, if you find yourself traveling between toledo and Port clinton this is a must stop.
Ordered a Reuben, after a while I was told they were out of saurkraut, so I ordered the "wing dings" instead...it's just dough...these are not wings.
