Best WLM Reviews
Great little lunch spot. Quiet atmosphere and quick service. Menu wasn't super exciting but food was pretty decent for being in a landlocked city. Would come back.
The food was at best, okay. The sashimi looked decent, but the fish wasn’t fresh or tasty (of all types). Perhaps it was because I arrived near closing time, but that shouldn’t have affected the quality.
I won’t be returning.
Wow! Such great and authentic Sushi in Nashville! We found this location after an unfortunate experience with a tourist trap sushi restaurant off Broadway.
This restaurant, right around the corner served outstanding food, great and friendly customer service, and was authentic. This made such a great meal and I am so glad we found this restaurant!
Thank you so much!
I’m from New York so I know about expensive food, I think they are very overpriced. Food is good, but not $21 a roll good And that was a cheap one. Most specialty rolls were $28. If you’re looking to leave with a full belly, be prepared to spend $60-$80 per person.
The two rolls pictured were $50 with a seltzer water.
The food was amazing. The service was amazing. The sushi was probably the freshest we've had in quite some time. The waitress was amazing and the service was quick. Parking is a bit rough if you have a larger vehicle. It's all parking meter spaces out front or a lot across the street. We will definitely be making this a regular stop.
Wow! What a great little sushi joint! For starters we had the pork gyoza and they were excellent. Then we all had salads and miso souls. The ginger dressing on the salad was some of the best dressing I think I have ever had. The soup was so good. My wife had the salad roll and she really enjoyed it. My son had the Big Bill roll and it was awesome. I had the Rainbow roll and it was very good. We all shared a bowl of shrimp fried rice and it was soooo good, some of the best fried rice we have had. Definitely a place we will go back to next time in town and we highly recommend it if you like sushi!
I had the sushi and sashimi combo. While thinly sliced, they gave me 4 pieces of each kind of sashimi when the menu said 3. I appreciated the subtle sushi rice flavor. The quality was B+. Came with salad and miso soup too. Above $30 but I understand downtown Nashville is expensive to run a business.
This place was overall okay. Nothing special but a decent meal. I will say it’s very expensive - it was over 80$ for two people. The edamame was cup size and 8$. For meals we had the chicken teriyaki and Kim’s Roll, the spicy tuna roll and white tuna nigiri. Nothing really stood out for those prices.
