Best WLM Reviews
We were welcomed by the chirpy colors in the lobby. It was wee hours in the morning and front desk helped me to get checked in quickly. The room placement/numbering was quite confusing but we found our room eventually using the map provided. Parking was apartment style and there were plenty.
Room felt clean, the color scheme definitely throws you off into thinking that the furniture is old but they looked to be newish. The building itself definitely felt old and has been refurbished as I could see our front door is not insulated therefore you could hear people walking by, thankfully we were placed in an area with not too many foot traffic.
Room size is average and overlooks the pool (no balcony) and comes equipped with microwave and a small fridge. What I love about this nook is they have a charging port with many outlets, it's great since I brought work and needed all the outlet to plug in and charge! TV works great and we spent a lot of time catching up on shows!
Water pressure was good but shower head limits the water which sucks. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and lotion are provided. Very surprised to find that breakfast is included which saves us time and money, nothing fancy but filled our tummy. Also surprised that it's the only cat1 Hyatt property in CA so that's already a big plus! So we will definitely be back!
There are a lot of food options nearby within walking distance if you don't feel like driving, namely the butcher place that's just next door which serves up really good kebab but they take a long time to prepare
The hotel/room is the basic/economic/business type, but the complimentary breakfast on the weekend is not good enough as we expected.
The colorful lobby and dining area are modern and new. The swimming pool is excellent and relaxed for the family. Good location, close to many options of food and supermarkets. We had a good time staying here overnight on our way to visit Santa Cruz.
We had a great stay here as a family with 3 small kids. One-bedroom suite was spacious and great for our family. It even had a little kitchenette with the microwave, but unfortunately no other kitchen utensils. It still fit our needs for a 10-night stay. Carpets could be more thoroughly cleaned, but other than that it was great. Bathroom toiletries had a great smell and I liked the decor and many great pictures in the room.||They did a great job decorating this hotel with bright yellow colors. The lobby and pool areas looked cheerful and cute. The pools and a hot tub were a big hit with our kids. Loved the books and games in the lobby.||Breakfast could be better but given how reasonable the prices for this hotel are, it's fine. I appreciated that coffee and tea were available all day. They even has some fruit available if not all were taken during breakfast. Overall great value for money or points! As Globalists, we were recognized at the check-in, given free water, and upgraded. We appreciated that! Location is convenient to everything in San Jose and beyond if you have a car.
Very nicely renovated hotel, the place looked amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the walls seemed thin, so noise was definitely heard between the rooms and I would be sure to get an inside room next time to minimize the car noise.
This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 nights stay here. It's vibrant, very colorful and has a character to it. I kept boasting to my colleagues about how attractive it is. The painted corridors, the cozy interiors esp around the lobby and dining area, super comfortable rooms - everything was on point and lifts up your mood instantly. Very well kept, all basic amenities plus jacuzzi, heated pool and gym. The wifi also works great which is very important esp on business trips. Lastly, the service - every staff member I talked to was courteous, happy to help, cheerful and quick to respond. No complaints. I'm looking forward to staying with them every visit. Thank you so much!
How in the world does this hotel have a 4+ star rating? My room smells like a mildewed rag left in an ashtray. The building is laid out like some kind of funhouse. The HVAC barely works. There is a 2 inch gap under my room door, allowing all the wind and noise and INSECTS to freely drift in and out of my room.
It is a desperate roadside motel, given a thin coat of new paint, and charging $250+ a night for the privilege of being near Silicon Valley.
Good hotel for the price! It's a little rundown but that's because it's basically a remodeled motel. Besides being old, it was clean and everything inside the rooms has been upgraded. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The noise from the hallway was loud but nothing a towel under the door couldn't fix. Breakfast was super simple but yummy. Would recommend this place if you're staying for a night or two!
They overbooked their rooms and screwed me out of my reservation. I was supposed to get a king size bed, but they gave them all away so me and my wife were stuck sleeping in separate beds, but they tried to tell me that this was an upgrade on the room and that I even had a better view like I really care about having a view from a second floor overlooking a swimming pool. so yes wow thank you so much for the view of the swimming pool while me and my wife on vacation are forced to sleep in separate beds. And then when I tried to speak to someone about this, all they told me was that the woman who was responsible for booking the reservations is in New York City. The hotel is in California and that she always does this and over books the king size rooms so it makes it sound like this is a reoccurring issue with this hotel I highly recommend nobody stay at this hotel.
