Went to see Micro Wrestling here. It’s a good show but this is a terrible venue for it. Got stuck behind a crowd of really tall people and couldn’t see a thing so we ended up leaving early. The dividing wall with arches in the middle makes it so you’re either behind one section of crowds or the other and neither made a difference. Waste of $40.
On top of that, the drinks, while not the worst quality, were definitely overpriced. Big tourist trap vibes. Would watch MW again but not here. Won’t be coming back.
Super cool place on 6th street. It had multiple levels and lots of dancing and a bull to ride.
On 2nd floor there is a cock instead of bull to ride lol
The balcony on the upper floor had a fun view of the street for people watching!
Be very aware of your bar tab.
When you go to close out they will simply add whatever tip they feel to your tab at the end of the night no matter what you write on the receipt.
I had an additional $6 added to my already 20% tip...
Service wasn't great either to warrant that kind of tip to begin with anyway!
Absolute scam. 46 dollars for two vodka red bulls. Bartender was a douche, probably a bit of roid rage. Security was eager to grab my 23 dollar drink and throw it in the trash as the clock struck 2. Cool bull though
The bouncer (short white male) that let me and my friend in kicked us out because our older friend had our money, he told us to come back with the money. We did and he turned us away and made some bullshit ass excuse saying my friend was to "intoxicated" to enter... when he had just let us in... Very rude and seems he just wanted a power trip.
$29 for a whiskey/coke is kinda crazy. The atmosphere was pretty chill tho, just wouldn’t recommend buying drinks here
Let me just start by saying that I am a gay icon. Wild Greg's Saloon turned me away last weekend for no reason than that I am zesty. I hadn't had anything to drink that night so I wasn't actin like it was my birthday or some sheeit. The bouncer at the door was terribly rude and even grabbed my very fragile arm. I think he needs to be put on bathroom duty only.
When I tried to get my purse back from bag check, I couldn’t get the “cop” to look up from his phone to tell me where to get it and then the manager at the door was also on her phone and I yelled at me for asking for my purse that you all insisted that I check- they were rude when we left and yelled at us through a mega phone - not sure why that was necessary? Is that the way you treat your customers??
I’m from San Diego, we get a lot of tourists and I have never been to a bar where we would treat customers like that - it turns out we like the people who spend money at our bars - don’t come to our town!
