Don't be deceived by the exterior. It is actually a really nice atmosphere. Service was quick. The spicy tuna roll was basic, and fine for an appetizer. The general tso chicken entree was great. Smoky, sweet, and had a noticeable bite. Most places say they are spicy, but I can appreciate the heat of this one.
Hadn't been in a while and I have to say this is still one of the best sushi restaurants in Columbus. The ingredients taste so fresh and the prices are good. The service is very friendly and attentive. We got 3 different rolls and I got the ice cream dessert for my son - it was all beautiful and tasted great
Wife and I went with friends to Wild Ginger. Food was good. However the service was off the mark. Orders were Mixed up, wrong and off on timing. Friends Wife received wrong entree. My wife's entree arrived 5 minutes after the rest of table was served, so I shared mine until hers arrived. Staff are all very nice. Food is good although pricey for what you receive. We had a good time. Just an off night on the service side.
I ordered online. I purchased 3 rolls, California, asparagus and an eel roll. The taste was fine, pretty much like every other place I have ordered these types from. The issue I had was I spent almost 24.00 for the three rolls which is the same as most other places, but I don't think I have seen any rolls as small as these were. When I picked up it the bag was very light that I should have opened it up right there but I didn't. I got in my car and opened it up and was very suprised. All 3 rolls were in one container which the container was the size of your basic sushi container like at the supermarket. I have never seen any roll that tiny, anywhere! The taste was fine, nothing new or better than any other. Generally, I can get 2 or 3 rolls from anywhere and my wife and I get our sushi fix. Disappointing.

The Wild Ginger is located in Hilliard, OH next to BW3s. This restaurant is beautiful from the moment you walk in! There's a beautiful full scale wood finished bar and Sushi Bar too. My wife had the Monster Roll and it was excellent, the mango was fresh and the ingredients too. I had the Japanese Singapore Rice Noodles with Chicken and the Hottie Roll. The spice although listed as a spicy dish and Sushi roll was too tame. The roll and the dish I had tasted fantastic though and I would definitely get the Japanese Singapore Rice Noodles again.
Food is 9/10, very fast and good but not enough flavorful. I tried different rolls and the spicy Kane salads which is not spicy, it’s very good.
4.5 out of 5 order the combination lo mein and a chicken and shrimp lo mein it’s pretty solid food with quality ingredients I do however feel the price is a little high $32 for 2 bowels of noodles is crazy this is more a once in a blue moon type restaurant , service was nice and friendly and the restaurant itself was clean from what I could see
This is one of our favorite sushi places. The food is amazing. Our favorite is the Buckeye Roll. Also, don't forget to start off with a Miso soup, which is also delicious! Their wine is also really good. I usually get a California Pinot Noir. It is a quieter place, so it's nice when we want to get away from all the noise of daily life.
